The next morning the Lycans take their leave after promising to call on me the next time they're playing in the area. I also learned that the Celestials aren't the only ones they play this game with, their extended royal family just happens to have a lot of pretty, unwed daughters.
The Celestial Prince takes me aside to chat after the Lycans leave, asking if I'm alright, or held hostage here. He is under the impression that my eyes are a marker of Celestial blood, and they're very firm about looking after their own. That makes me wonder though, if the happy new couple does have a bunch of children, will they come out looking like I do now, with the flawless skin, black eyeballs and half Lycan second form? Or will they come out more like either parent.
