The Sect Elders have been pushing to have the light Sects evaluate us as a grey sect of neutral assassins, and high profile victories without incidents are key. Especially non combat categories that show us as a well rounded sect.
Not that the members are any less evil cultivators, or planning to stop practicing forbidden techniques, but officially being neutral would allow marginalized light sects to hire us without fear of being labeled a Devil Sect themselves. And that's good for business.
The Inner Sect semi finals are today, finals tomorrow along with an exhibition by Elders. I've just got to find a way to actually get out of the building to go.
