Said Mr Lee.
Abi nodded and took a pen she signed the documents and extended her hand toward Mr Lee.
which Mr Lee accepted cheerfully. Abi took both files and was about to leave when Mr Lee stopped her he threw a key toward her. Abi caught it and saw the logo on it. it was the latest model Ferrari. Abi smiled and left the study. it was not a bad deal working for Lee. in her new life, she needed a job and a place to live. Although Alan will never gonna agree on her leaving she knew she can't stay here forever it will be dangerous.
Abi went back to her room and slept soundly without knowing that her red eyes made someone restless the whole night. Aidan dropped his wife and sister in law in their mansion and went to his penthouse. which is his personal space he went to his vine chamber and took out a wine. he opened it and drank it directly from the bottle. he went toward his room's balcony and stood there for a while. His mind was still messed up with thoughts of that little Rabbit. He shook his head and smiled inwardly.
Early in the morning, the courtyard of Lee's residence was already decorated with flowers and balloons.
After taking a shower Abi went down for Breakfast she saw Alan who had dark circles around his eyes. He must be tried because of surgery. Although he was tired the smile on his face was still cheeky. Ariana told him about Abi's progress and he start clinging to her saying "speak something Cherry blossom I am dying to hear your voice." His eyes were pleading to her.
Abi rolled her eyes and glared at him she said annoyingly "Get lost" her voice was a little hoarse and merely audible. Which made Alan smile even more. "yay!! Finally, I'll be able to hear you again."
"Little girl do you have a gown to wear at the party tonight?" Grandma Lee asked.
"It's ok grandma I'll help her pick one." Alan chimed in again.
"No need I already asked the designer to visit for a dress," said Ariana.
"That's great then." Grandma lee replied. "By the way what's your plan for the future, I mean for a youth like you it must be boring to stay like this right."
Abi nodded and wrote something and showed it to grandma Lee. "From tomorrow, I am going to join Mr Lee's company." reading this grandpa Lee who was quiet for a while now frowned and gaze at his son with a questioning look.
"Yes father Abigail is indeed joining me she had a plan for our new project which Mr Guan presented the other day and seriously I think the plan is a huge success. that's why I offered her to work for me." Grandpa Lee nodded. Although he won't have any personal grudge with this girl. he quite likes her but because of his family security, he can't let anyone harm them. so he is a little cautious with every new person around them. But if this girl can help them make some more money, he either doesn't mind keeping her by their side. he believes his son is a matter of business.
It was already 1 pm when Koray went to call Abi he said "Lady Abigail your bodyguard is here."
"Alright" saying this Abi went downstairs and saw Tom holding Two packages. He bowed a little toward her and handed it to her she opened one packet which had a small box in it. she took it out and other she handed it to Tom. she jester him to follow her. first, she stopped in front of her room and placed the big box on the table then she walked toward Mrs Lee's room. she knock politely and waited for her.
Mrs lee opened the door and smiled "Come in dear why are you standing there?"
Abi followed her into the room and sat on a chair with her. she then took the small box and gave it to her.
"Happy Birthday" she whispered and placed the box in her hand.
Ariana was stunned at first but excepted the box happily."thank you dear." she unpacked the box and was stunned to see the material inside. it was "red Painite" one of the rarest gemstones in this world carved into a beautiful necklace, Ariana was shocked to see such a beautiful design. Her eyes brightened with such an amazing gift. She couldn't help but gave Abi several hugs.
She placed the necklace near her dress and asked "Do you think I should wear this today it matches my dress so well." Ariana said while wearing the necklace. Abi smiled and nodded After cheating for a while she left the room with satisfaction.
After leaving the room she took out her phone and write a message to Tom. "If someone asks you where did you get this necklace from you have to say that you bought them from an auction." she even sends him the picture of reckless which she took before giving it to Mrs Lee.
Tom who was clueless about the deed was speechless when she saw the msg. He gave her an ok signal and left. Unknown to him his lady boss just pushed him into the pit.
