Alan was still busy checking her when someone knocked and aunty Mai entered the room while holding a cup of coffee. when she saw a woman sitting on the bed she was shocked. the coffee which she was holding fell from her hand and scattered around the floor. she was too shocked to see the woman. the woman she took care of for so long is finally awake. aunty Mai quickly went to her side and exclaimed in excitement " Miss you are finally awake. I am so happy for you. aww... look at your eyes they are as beautiful as a ruby." aunty Mai didn't mind holding her happiness back she grabbed Abigail hand and touched her face gently.
it's the 3rd shock of the day that Abigail just had she never let anybody touch her like that because she never liked physical contact with others but seeing old lady excitement and she even touched her face like this she felt warm. which never occurred in her life before. Alan saw this interaction of two lady's in front of him he was surprised as well but right on the next moment, he went toward aunty Mai and pat gently on aunty Mai shoulder.
Aunty Mai quickly let go of Abigail and stood beside Alan.
"Let me introduce you guys. This is your caretaker Aunty Mai and Aunty Mai this is Abigail." Alan introduce them and explained to aunty Mai her condition he added some new medicines to her receipt and pass it to Aunty Mai. He then scheduled her exercise for rehabilitation. After an hour of his instructions, he finally let Aunty Mai do her job. he then took his phone to make a call to his assistant Jin and gave him some instructions. in fifteen minutes there was a knock on the door. alan opened the door and asked him to enter. Jin was hesitant to enter because Dr Alan never let anybody enter this room. After several thoughts, he entered the room only to be shocked again a woman was sitting on the bed she had red hairs and red eyes which were beautiful. she looked like an angel who just landed from the heavens.
"Have you bought everything I asked for?" Alan asked Jin making him startled. "huh!! yes, Dr Alan" Jin quickly handed him a medium-size bag. Alan took the bag and kept it he then went toward Abigail and asked her if she could move her hand. Abigail nodded slightly and lifted her hand. it was difficult at the beginning but when she moved her hand for some time it worked well. she then moved her fingers to show him that they worked quite well. Alan smiled in satisfaction and took out a phone from that bag he unpacked the phone and gave it to her. it was the latest mobile Abigail took the phone from his hand. "there is my number saved into it. whenever you have any problem you can give me a call. Aunty Mai will be with you all the time and he is Jin, he is my assistant. if you need anything you can just ask aunty mai to inform him. he will buy it for you."
Abigail nodded in answer and opened the phone she then typed something on the phone and showed it to Alan. Alan reed the content and frowned. Abigail wrote a list of questions for him.
he shook his head helplessly and took the phone from her hand "why I'm not able to speak? why are you here? why I am here? where is this place? where did you find me? is there someone who left me here? if there is then who is that person?"
He took the phone and placed it aside he smiled and said "you were found on my families private beach and luckily I was on that beach at that time. you had a lot of injuries on your body and one of them was on your throat which was deep enough to make you mute for the rest of your life but luckily your injury didn't harm your muscles so the chances of recovering your voice are more than losing it. even I was shocked when I found you like that so I hide you in this place just to prevent your security I never let anybody enter this room instead of aunty Mai. I just gave you a phone you can find other information on it just in case you want to know. he smiled meaningfully.
Abigail understood the meaning behind his smile. it's not like he was telling her the truth but sooner or later she will find it on her own. how she ended up here. she lowered her head and looked toward the phone. Alan left the room with jin leaving Abigail and aunty Mai behind.
