"… There aren't many things that can take my breath away… but this…
Rahzil, this place is beautiful…"
Esmond couldn't help but gasp at the design and layout of the buildings, including the sheer size of the land that was in the hands of the Sect.
Though he couldn't see anything more than the Outer Red Tortoise Wing part of the entire Exalted Night Heavenly Sect, which only took up a small part of the entire mountain range in the Sects control, it was utterly amazing to look at.
Disbelief was written clearly across Esmonds face after witnessing the multi-storey buildings which had cascading gardens on the sides of the glass buildings, stretching all the way down to the ground.
The roads were made from hexagonal solar pads which had LED lights built in that could be programmed in multiple ways.
Currently the LEDs were lit up to split the traffic to either side for better flow of traffic since carts were still part of the Outer Sect Wing, but they had been upgraded to be pulled by the force of a bicycle.
The carts had modern spring suspension with rubber tyres to help ease the wide use of the equipment among all ages if necessary.
Other things like the street stalls and shops full of fresh food was quite different from what Esmond had originally imagined for the Sect since he didn't expect Cultivators to waste their time on food.
To his surprise though, all of the produce seemed to be the highest quality grade produce that was grown within the Spatial Ark Star World.
While they didn't have any of the Spiritual Infused Essence fresh produce, Esmond didn't doubt it could be bought from somewhere.
In his eyes the entire Sect Wing seemed more like a city rather than a place to train and educate Cultivators since there were many people from all ages living in the Sect who clearly had no aura in their body to say they practised cultivation methods.
.
"You should thank Carter and the others for their help in designing the city.
Rosie and Archies work… well, its hard to beat." Rahzil commented as he walked along with Esmond and Carter through the streets of the Sect Wing as the trio made their way towards the tower.
At the peak of the Sect Wing stood tall the Red Tower which used to resemble a Pagoda, which was a tiered tower with fanned out roofing as the levels increased.
Rahzil planned to keep the tower unchanged, however Rosie and Archie felt it would fall short in elegance compared to the rest of the changes they'd made throughout the Sect Wing.
Now it took up twice as much space as before, with each level spanning out to allow for sky gardens and space to relax while enjoying the view.
The tower stretched up 10 storeys and had a garden on each level that extended beyond the internal structure and design of the building.
Inside had its own modern touch with the LED lighting and use of glass for a sleeker appearance in some cases where large rooms needed to be divided into sections.
Of course, there was the ability to darken the glass so no one could see through it.
The Elder of the Sect Wing had approved for an update of his room as well to include a small office, library, shower, kitchen and so on after Rahzil showed him the new housing for the new recruits and disciples.
The whole Sect Wing was amazing, but Esmond could tell beyond the appearance of a bustling city was the tension being attacked by their own and external forces who all wished for a piece of the Sect Wing.
Esmond already had a plan to deal with the issue, especially after he saw the techniques available in the library of the Sect Wing that was open to all.
Not all of the techniques were of the highest grade, however it gave Esmond an idea, which he'd already put into play back in the Spatial Ark Star World.
.
"S-Sir… are you sure this is the right call to make?
I mean… Lord Esmond has every right to ask this of us… but they aren't anywhere near ready."
"Remi… you should never question Esmonds thoughts.
I tried to once and it ended up with me losing a close friend that I'd never realised meant the world to me…
Just follow the plan he has asked of us…" Nedric sent his assistant away while he continued to peer down from his office window to watch the First-Generation Clones about to start a new type of training.
Every day roughly 5 million Clones were birthed from their Pods, ready to start their training in the Military Educational Training Pods within the Virtual World.
This happened because of the large backlog of clones that were created every day since the technology became available.
The batch of First-Generation Clones were Nedrics greatest asset since the Agency planned to have them operate throughout Earth as undercover agents but with the trouble brewing on Astelan, Esmond asked for a portion of the Clones to be prepared for the Cultivation World.
Second-Generation Clones weren't far away from being ready to be extracted from their birthing Pods, but they weren't going over to Astelan at all.
Esmond made it clear to Nedric he wanted the First-Generation Clones because of their high individuality which would be vital on Astelan.
Their training was being taken cared of by Kizelar and the Necthea Institute, since they knew how to help the Clones best to accelerate their Cultivation training.
Because the project from Esmond came out of nowhere, everything was a little rushed, but Kizelar had a scholarly wisdom about himself that helped calm the tense pressure on many of the workers shoulders.
Nedric was told to look over the whole process while Esmond found out the issues plaguing the Exalted Night Heavenly Sect, but the head of the Shadow Intelligence Agency felt the Scholar of the Library of Raibeelze was the better choice after witnessing his ability educating the Clones.
"Where does he keep finding such people…?" Nedric said aloud while his eyes watched Kizelar like a hawk.
Sipping on his cup of Arabian black tea, Nedric continued to witness the tremendous speeds at which the Clones cultivated the abundant Spiritual Energy in the air.
.
'These children… *Sigh* they should all have a handicap for trying to Cultivate at such a late point in their lives, since its best to start as early as possible, but… these children…
My Lord… where did you find these monsters?' Kizelars mind kept spinning around, unable to process the speed at which the Clones were progressing in their training.
When Kizelar was asked about Cultivation Techniques by members of the Necthea Institute, he imagined the information would be used for research purposes but once he got called to take over the project to teach the Clones, he realised no one from the Institute could keep up with the progression rate of First-Generation Clones.
For Kizelar it felt like times in his past had come back, just like when he used to teach the students of the Library of Raibeelze, which made the whole experience much easier for him, but after he noticed all of the children were monsters when it came to Cultivation, he felt like his own time training as a Cultivator was wasted.
Yet he didn't let his conflicted heart get the better of him and affect how he taught to the children, rather it burned passionately as if pushing him to create the ultimate cultivators.
Kizelar realised the children would become the strongest force of his Lords armies over time, even though he wished none would ever be called to serve, as he feared for their lives.
It led to him making some questionable calls about their training, leading him to use the Gravity Manipulation of the space to temper the bodies and minds of every clone until they were as close as possible to indestructible.
"Professor Kizelar…
We've finished the testing on the techniques you provided the Institute.
The folder contains all of the information we've gathered so you can have a look yourself, but in my own opinion after reading through it myself… the techniques have devastating applications when used in battle.
Unless you've reached a certain level in compounding your strength, you'll either fall victim to the techniques raw power when practising the technique or leave behind utter destruction wherever the user would utilise the method." Tulluan came over to the Training Grounds made at the main facilities of the Shadow Intelligence Agency.
The Thazukraans scientist came over with the results conducted within the Virtual World, as they examined the strength and application of certain techniques from the Library of Raibeelze.
According to what Kizelar had told the Director of the Necthea Institute, Tulluan, when he handed over the Cultivation Techniques, he explained they were long ago sealed by the former Lord of the library since many were too dangerous to practise.
Kizelar tasked the Institute to find the optimal method to practise the Techniques so it wouldn't cause most of the clones to die out.
To his surprise, the time taken to find an optimal method for the few Techniques handed over to the Institute didn't take long and was done within the same day.
.
"Professor Tulluan… thank you for your help.
These results… are absolutely astonishing!
The fact that anyone can adapt to the power of the techniques through certain potions and pills will be of great help, however, do we have the ability to supply all of the children?"
"Don't worry, Kizelar…
The might of the Space is way beyond anything you could ever imagine." Tulluan grinned as he handed over a Spatial Ring made within the Spatial Ark Star World which contained all of the finished products needed for the clones.
"Whenever you are ready, hand them out to the Clones according to the instructions in the folder, Kizelar.
Anyway, I need to head off back to the Institute.
We are holding another conference today with the Scientists from Thazur to help realise the technology Lord Esmond wishes to create for the people of Earth." Kizelar happily let Tulluan leave after saying he would try his best to join them in the meeting, since he'd come to be heavily interested in technology, including its various applications.
.
Back on Astelan, Rahzil brought Esmond and Carter to meet with the Elder of the Red Tortoise Sect Wing, at the Tower so they could discuss how to deal with both internal and external threats.
"… You can't be serious…?
You'll end up beaten to death and at the mercy of the Sect Leader if you try something so foolish…" Wang Jie tried to be the voice of reason, however his words failed to reach Esmond, who'd already made plans to seize the Sect for his own purposes.
"Elder Wang… I'll make this easy for you to understand…
Nobody… and I mean Nobody…
Has the damn right to challenge my people and especially… my fucking family." Esmond didn't raise his voice too much in case he was seen as a barbarian, but his words were enough to make Wang Jie realise the Sect had made an enemy of the wrong person by accident.
When several Sects decided to attack the Red Tortoise Sect Wing, Wang Jie expected the Sect Leader and the other Elders to help defend the Wing, yet they all had their own ambitions for the land and even helped the other Sects.
At the time, Wang Jie didn't know what to do and asked for Rahzils help, who did his very best to protect the Sect Wing to the best of his ability yet after many people were captured and taken away, Wang Jie realised even their own Sect wasn't unified under their leader.
Being an Elder, Wang Jie organised a meeting with the Grand Elder of the Sect, who had authority above the Sect Leader, yet before the meeting even occurred Rahzil brought Esmond over.
Though he couldn't measure Esmonds strength through his own scans for his aura, Wang Jie learnt quickly the man had come to take control of the disorder and forge it into a weapon to serve him.
Very quickly he came to understand Rahzils family wasn't simple, and now that the Sect had infuriated the family after all of their generosity, Wang Jie was left with practically no authority.
He could only pray the Grand Elder might be able to sort out the chaos festered throughout the Sect.
