"Wait… you just entered Mars orbit?" Esmond dragged himself out of bed, rubbing his dreary eyes while trying to comprehend what he heard.
"Yep!
The rockets just reached Mars around an hour ago and are currently going around the planet to set themselves up in orbit.
But between us, I can already open gates onto the planets surface." Carter knew his words would get Esmonds mind churning and excited for the day.
And he wasn't wrong as Esmond came running down from his bedroom after hanging up the call between the two.
The first thing Esmond saw was the cheeky grin on Carters face but his eyes quickly caught onto the red sand that was in a small jar on the coffee table.
"… Its Martian Sand… surprisingly with iron particles finely mixed in…" Carter already knew the composition of the Mars soil would have large amount of iron mixed in, but once the drones brought it over to the space, was he finally able to notice the power Mars could offer.
"Have you…" Esmond couldn't care about the sand, instead he wanted to know if Carter had done as he had asked.
Fortunately, Esmond didn't need to wait even a further second, as he was cut mid-sentence by the video on the television screen playing.
"Currently… I've got the drones setting up near Columbia Hills on Mars, where I found a following hot springs, which makes it quite a nice spot for creating the habitat.
Not just that, there is land around that perfectly aids in shielding the area from storms.
There are also canyons close by that can be the starting point for the underground habitation.
But… as you asked…" Carter could now see the impatience across Esmonds face who was getting closer to him while exuding a little annoyance at Carter for not hurrying out with his explanation.
"… I have started on one of the mega projects you asked for…
I still don't understand though…" Carter sighed dramatically, irritating Esmond further who felt joy for a small second before Carter had to make it come crashing down.
"What don't you understand Carter?" gritting his teeth, Esmond got out a couple words his eyes were drawn to the television screen again which had changed the video from Columbia Hill to a separate location on the red planet.
"Why do you want to a Space Elevator first?" Carter couldn't understand why it would be the most important project for Esmond to be made on Mars.
Esmond laughed before replying with a smug look of his own, "Because… I plan to make Mars ours far ahead of any other nation or company on Earth.
It won't be the only planet either…" Esmond already learnt about the arrival of the rocket that reached Venus two days earlier.
The shielding material for Venus was being built by the drones and droids within the space to protect the planet from the Sun's rays.
All the satellites orbiting Venus were quickly mapping the planet's surface which would help Carter out in the future when the terraforming process would begin.
An annular slag mirror system that reflects the sunlight with supporting mirrors closer to Venus as the larger group of mirrors would appear closer to the sun.
Based off the simulations in the Virtual Lab and Carters own calculations, the mirror system would help cool the planet down, leaving Carter to drag the CO2 in the air to the space.
Carter's upgrade made him powerful enough to help affect planets enough with his connection to the Spatial Ark Star World.
Using this strength, Carter was going to speed up the terraforming of Venus and Mars where he would be able to take things into the Spatial Ark Star World like the unwanted CO2 or providing the much-needed water to the planets.
.
The two sat down and enjoyed breakfast together while discussing over the extensive number of projects that would start being built on Mars as Venus went through preparations.
As the others woke up for the morning and join Esmond and Carter for breakfast, the topic of discussion quickly escalated beyond Esmonds thoughts.
Maverick brought up the idea of a Solar System Public Transportation Network which could help the average citizen travel across the star system and reach various bases or civil installations without difficulty or humongous costs.
It was inevitable for the costs to travel in outer space to be extremely expensive and left only to the extremely rich to afford, so Maverick's idea happened to be quite important to the development of the Solar System.
.
Using a Skyhook, or simply known as a tether, placed in outer space and orbiting a planet, that would spin and catch spacecrafts in low orbit before spinning them along with the tethers rotation before slinging it off like a catapult in the necessary direction.
This plan happened to be approved over respectively by everyone at the breakfast table however there were some alterations done to the design of the transportation network.
Vaazakra suggested adding a railgun system to propel the rockets from the planets into space or from the orbital stations, which was approved of by everyone with some tweaks of course.
The conversation continued on to talk about mining spacecrafts and machinery that would work on clearing up the asteroids in the Solar System, to collecting the waste in orbit.
Carter had been clearing away some of the defunct satellites and shards of metal speeding around close to 30,000 kilometres per hour.
Most of the smaller pieces had been collected by the gates popping up in orbit, leaving the larger pieces, however a decision was made to leave some of the larger pieces to be collected by the Primal Waste Management Group.
Primal Space would be the company in the future which would collect the rubbish in space and recycle it, but only after it left a mark large enough in the world for cleaning up the waste on Earth.
Currently large pieces of land or sea that were covered in rubbish were collected, like the giant rubbish island in the Pacific Ocean.
Right now, its visual and illusionist display to the outside world would show large piles of rubbish floating in the sea, nearly creating an island the size of Manhattan, three times over.
But in reality, the rubbish was nearly cleared up and the systems powers to keep a shroud over the Earths citizens for long enough, Primal Waste Management would soon leave a legendary mark on the world.
James had informed Esmond about the company's development when they caught up a few days back.
Primal Waste Management had just agreed with several larger contracts from all over Asia to send ships full of waste to Adelaide for recycling.
The contracts from around South Australia and the nearby states had already shown the quality of the work to the government that it might be better to contract with Primal Waste Management to deal with all of the nation's waste.
It was a big decision to make so early on, however James knew the right people to call and bother, while providing the necessary proof of the company's work.
What shocked everyone who saw the footage was the recycling process creating materials that could be used immediately.
There was steel, petroleum plastics, silicon, and plenty of other resources which could be sold off straight away for manufacturing and production.
James already set the company up to sell the materials, with friends like Zhao Cai buying up large amounts of everything since the price was dirt cheap.
Everything was top notch in quality, since the recycling operation improved the quality of the materials slightly, but because it came from recycled treatment, it would be priced cheaper.
Not all of the waste was transported over to the Spatial Ark Star World to be recycled before being sent back to Earth after Carter set up a couple recycling centres in Adelaide with machinery from the space.
The facilities were all heavily protected and guarded from nosy eyes which left everyone chasing James.
All of the information the wizard CEO, James Trudell provided to those that enquired about the materials strength and durability, left them all reeling in the fact they had failed to get a lead on the news first.
.
While Esmond was having breakfast, his uncle James was already getting calls from all over the world asking if his data was real, since the information had leaked everywhere.
Some mining companies like BHP were left scratching their heads.
The executives didn't know if they should offer to buy the Primal Waste Management's technology or create a mutual relationship so they wouldn't ruin the price of steel and other materials.
Governments and businesses were preparing themselves for a major change if everything they saw was true in the information leak.
There were doubts in the community but as the voice of doubt got louder, James's chance to gag that voice came running into his arms when he released video footage showcasing some of the procedure.
More information also was uploaded to the company website and with the material also being sent out for testing under scrutiny.
James was completely certain the tests would make the company a very important organisation in the world.
To his knowledge there was over 1000 cargo ships full of waste heading towards which was going to make Adelaide's Port extremely busy, so Eddie had made taken up a large control in the company operating the Port and decided to organise some adjustments.
It was already obvious to James the Port would need to be improved, even making the comment while Esmond was around so he would realise the external issues, but Esmond instead saw that as room for further growth.
Taking over most of the private company that owned and operated the Port of Adelaide, Eddie was planning to give the contract for the necessary materials to Primal Waste Management.
Esmond found all of this news to be unbelievable and somehow funny because the pace his uncle was working to develop the business was far more active than Esmond expect at first.
.
After breakfast was finished and everyone was leaving the cabin for work, Maverick held Esmond back since he needed his help again.
"Brother… could you come with me to the Retail Market?" Maverick didn't think Esmond would go along with him, but to his surprise Esmond was more than happy to go.
In fact, Esmond wanted to go over and sort out Isabelles connection with the Retail Market.
Since she came from the Pocket Space that was left behind by Henry Talbot, Esmond was curious to know how her connection with the Retail Market would differ with Mavericks.
He was already operating steadily as the waste collection from the Retail Market wasn't overwhelming.
Rather his mind was occupied by the work invested in an outer district market that was largely bought up by Maverick and was currently being refurbished.
Instead of leaving the work to the System that control and operated the world in which the Retail Market existed, Maverick instead paid the local populous for the work and left them to do it.
While the cost was much cheaper than the instant construction ability of the Retail Market System, Maverick was told early on by Esmond to focus on the locals.
His elder sister, Isabelle, had told him of the same thing since they were the strongest force that was being neglected stupidly in her mind for the System's ability.
