Chapter 88 - An Unexpected Welcome...

"That… was… horseshit…!" Esmond screamed in between heavy breaths, absolutely wrecked after going all out without unlocking more of his Stats.

"Sorry… I tried my best to deal with the pesky problems he left behind.

Never thought Jango would have rigged the place to blow…" Carter said while walking Esmonds chest go up and down.

"Let's go and check this army out!!" far too eager, Carter grabbed onto Esmond and took him into a region of the space that wasn't too far from the military training and housing compound.

With access to the rewards, Carter already had Echo and the others deal with spawning the Kaminoans and set up the facilities for the cloning tech along with the current facilities, while he dealt with the fun stuff.

Esmond and Carter watched as 3,000,000 soldiers clad in white armour appeared before them with weapons in hand.

The planet-based weapons seemed to have been spawned along with the clone troopers, but none of the space faring ships came along with them.

Esmond could give to damns about the ships right now as he had 3,000,000 ready to go armed soldiers for warfare, and they were exactly what he dreamt it would be like.

Except for the low troop numbers, Esmond was overjoyed and excited.

Carter seemed to have the same enthusiastic attitude as Esmond.

Calling out to the large group of troopers, Carter and Esmond picked up that the troopers seemed to be confused a little bit.

"Hey everyone, my name is Carter, and this here is Esmond Manston, the one who brought you to this place…

Seems like some of you are having a hard time right now…" Carter tried to see if someone would speak up and say what was wrong, however none did, leaving Carter confused and a little stumped.

.

"*Sigh* Hi everyone…

I think… you're all wondering how you've appeared here…

To put it simply… I have an ability that allows me to travel to other worlds… but in return I must complete cerTian tasks while I visit those worlds… as a result… you were my reward.

While it might seem disheartening to hear that, I know you are all tired of fighting.

If you remember the past, then I can say for cerTian you are more than done.

I do not mind if you do not wish to fight my battles, rather I will offer you all more than enough to spend the rest of your lives in here with comfort.

All I ask is you help train my troops…"

Esmond spoke loud enough so every soldier could hear his voice, no matter how far away they were.

He had the attention of all of the troops who stare at Esmond through the visors of their helmets.

Eventually, one of the troopers stepped forward, removing his helmet before addressing Esmond.

"My name is Thire Sir, Commander… by the time of my death…

What my brothers have found is we all have memories of our past… and we do not wish to be a part of senseless warfare that leads to our friends dying."

It seemed the effects left behind by the Order 66 which meant the eradication of the Jedis who once served beside them.

.

"I understand…

It can be traumatic to see friends die by your hands with no ability to stop it…

I promise you the luxuries you all wish for, I truly just hope for your help training the next generation of my forces."

Esmond really didn't want to lead any of them into war once he saw the faces of the troopers.

They looked disheartened and broken, as if some had just awoken from their deaths while others lived long lives of regret and pain.

"Sir, we don't wish to sit out…

Actually, we don't want to me used and thrown aside like before…

We want to be acknowledged!" one of the troopers screamed from the crowd which led to an outcry of support for his comments from the others.

"You will have it!

All of you will!

I promise!!"

.

The clones very quickly understood Esmond meant what he said as they got to know what the space was about after taking care of their orientation.

Some of the clones had already decided to reenlist in the Armed Forces but hadn't made their intentions clear since there was no reason to just yet.

Everyone was quickly learning about the space and what it could offer them in a short period of time.

There were a decent number of clones who interacted with the residents of the space so they could learn about the lifestyle.

That's when the clones learnt the startling news.

Everyone had most been cleaned in harsh manners or seen the end of their kind before being spawned into the space by Esmond.

The residents thought this meant they were getting a second chance at life, which ended up translating over to the clones who felt their last lives weren't worthy.

Immediately, a large portion made their decision on what to do next.

Some decided to head towards the information's centres that were scattered around the cities where they could find out everything, they needed to join the Armed Forces.

Gabriel ran the information centres as it was part of her span of control and quickly sorted out transport for the large sums of clones.

Others wanted to get to know more about the space and ended up at a bar in the Second City.

.

"Hey Crash, how do we Order anything here…

Huh, see what I did there hahaha… why aren't you laughing?!" Chain looked at his fellow brother Crash like he was a mad man for not laughing at his joke.

Crash and the other handful of clones who were seated together looked at Chain like the sick bastard he was.

"Shut the fuck up Chain!

I had to kill a friend you asshole!" Jas yelled at his fellow brother; absolutely furious Chain could make such a joke.

"Your no fun… urgh…

Ahh, hello?" Chain was moaning aloud, annoyed no one understood his sense of humour but just then he saw a grown man look towards him with glowing eyes like a child on Christmas.

"A-Are you a Clone Trooper…?" the grown man asked with tears welling up.

Chain felt uncomfortable and didn't know what to say however one of the other clones answered for him, much to the shock and sheer excitement for the grown man.

"FUCK YEAH!! STAR WARS!!

I am such a huge fan of you guys!!

Hey!!

Are you guys joining the Armed Forces of Lord Esmond too?!!

Awe!! Fuck Yeah!!!

Hey *burp* guysss, look how I found!!

Ohh by the way, *burp*I'm Anton, these guys over here are Luka and Vishal… *burp*" Chain, and the other clones were astonished at the inhibition levels of the Anton and his friends.

Anton, along with Luka, Vishal, had raced over to the table and started asking all sorts of questions, leaving the clones confused and shocked.

Schmuel, who was part of the group with Anton asked the staff of the bar to put on the Star Wars films from the first.

Ordering all sorts of food for their new brethren, Schmuel went over and joined the group of clones.

Other residents who were enjoying themselves within the bar had become aware of the clones and bit by bit came over and introduced themselves.

Some joined in and watched the films, while others left to call their friends about what they saw.

All in all, everyone loved Earth culture within the space and Star Wars happened to be something universally enjoyed.

.

"Marshall Commander Cody… are you cerTian?"

"Indeed… I am…

I believe it would be the best decision to incorporate the Grand Army into both training and officer roles, while leaving the next generation to take the lead.

However, I can guarantee there will be more than enough brothers that will want to be at the forefront of combat." Cody, a well-known Clone Commander who worked beside Obi-Wan Kenobi until Order 66, who was currently kneeling before Esmond in the palace of the Second City.

Cody, along with the highest ranked Commanders were present before Esmond, totalling 38 powerful Clone Commanders kneeled while their Marshal spoke for them.

Esmond had asked them earlier if they were willing to join his forces when they asked to meet with him after roaming around the space for most of the afternoon.

"Lord Esmond, many of our brothers have already decided to join the Armed Forces out of their own free will.

Many have said it will be hard to find comfort here, but on the battlefront its… different." Thire, one of the Clone Commanders lined up along with the others behind Cody, spoke up.

A large portion of the soldiers were excited to settle down and create a family of their own but knowing that they needed to do something, many pounced at the offer to train and teach the next generation.

Echo and Carter had the 600 Kaminoans already go through orientation and get to work at the cloning facility, eager to see what they thought of the process so far.

Esmond had yet to go over and see them but from what Echo had said, they had already organised among themselves and elected someone at their leader who wanted to meet with him.

Apparently, the leader was named Tian Sei and currently had the Kaminoans working without any issue though he asked to meet with Esmond urgently.

Busy dealing with the Clones, Esmond had told Tian Sei to wait while he sorted everything out at the palace, or he was more than happy to come meet him.

.

"Very well, I will do as you say, however you should understand that you won't be deployed for some time and until that day you will be going through harsher training than you experienced ever before.

Is that understood?"

'"Yes sir!"' the Clone Commanders shouted all together before being led out by one of the palace staff members.

"*Sigh* Seems like they need some serious training before they are of any use…" Esmond gripped his head, complaining at the new headache that was building.

Leaving from the palace and shifting over to the cloning facilities, Esmonds arrived at the front of the facilities where there seemed to be Echo, Carter, and a Kaminoan, who probably was Tian Sei.

.

"Its an honour to meet you, Lord Esmond.

I am Tian Sei, the chosen representative for my species…" the tall white skinned Kaminoan, stood tall at nearly 8ft.

Esmond greet Tian before asking Carter and Echo if the living conditions for the Kaminoan were ready since Esmond didn't want them working without having the right living conditions at the minimum.

"It's done, but I suggest you listen to Tian Sei for now."

Carter said, which made Esmond look towards Tian, confused what the problem might be.

"Akhem… Lord Esmond, our race had suffered previously at the hands of the Galactic Empire and the Emperor…

All we ever wanted was a right to speak at the Senate and be heard but no… we never were…

Could you promise us that… we would have a voice…?"

Esmond found himself a little gobsmacked, not knowing what to say.

Tian Sei felt uncomfortable that there was no answer from Esmond, but after waiting a long, anxious minute, Tian got much more than he expected.

"Hahaha, Ohh Tian, your race, like everyone else here, has equal rights and say.

You guys happen to be one of the earlier races to join the Spatial Ark Star World so your numbers will be greater than most."

Carter reassured him by showing him their accommodations and living space, leaving Tian quite surprised when he saw his people were already taking to the place comfortably.

"Tian let's go inside.

So far, what do you think of the cloning process?" Esmond said while stepping inside as his hand on the back of Tian.
