"How are things with Kane?"
Esmond asked Carter while he worked in the library, adapting the schematics for the sky troopers and magna guard into a humanoid skeletal frame that could be built with bioorganic tech to create nanotech muscles, similar to the human body.
The plan was to use polymers with ogryx to create a layer of artificial skin on the droids that would make them similar to humans, even with the additional updates to make them speak and act human like.
Esmonds main concern was Kane controlling the humanoid droids as they would have autonomous thinking built into each of their programming but it the overall system would be controlled by Kane, and it needed to be ready to control so many droids without burdening its own mainframe.
The droids would be made from materials that were alloys or infused with ogryx, just to reduce the stress Kane or any of the A.Is would face if they were to control them.
Also, he learnt from Carter that the spiritual energy of the Spatial Ark Land was interfering with ogryx materials to activate certain characteristics of pure ogryx.
In the case of the droids, Esmond expected the steel alloy they created with carbon and ogryx would be used to create the makeup of the skeletal frame which possibly might activate accelerated intellect, which would improve the autonomous thinking of each droid.
It related to ogryx ability to be a semiconductor and spiritual material that could inhibit energy that activated other components materials based on how they were being used or forged into.
.
'Thinks are fine right now.
Actually, Kane is adapting quickly and improving at a pace I cannot believe but that is in part related to the little stress the Virtual World is experiencing.
However, once the mainframe is finished being built and the servers are all set in place, I'll upload Kane to his new home before checking his operational abilities once more.'
Esmond was happy with his results and felt like starting his second project as well as refining ED, the program currently used by Echo for his business management.
But he continued working on his droid's design in the library till it accepted his work and opened up a now lab for him to conduct his work in.
.
There were roughly 6 hours left until the 8th of February 2008 ended, which Esmond entirely spent within the Virtual Labs, making up to 30 days within the labs for him to work on the A.I programs, droids, and military vehicles.
The droids were completed and named Phantom Droids; code named PD-01 as they were the first versions.
Esmond included a plasma rifle, miniaturised rocket launchers, a minigun and other additional offensive and defensive weapons to be built into the droids' bodies that would work as back up if the weapons in hand weren't enough to save them in combat.
They were retinas built in like a HUD system that could be updated and provided with information while on the move and in combat.
Another problem he found during his work was the problems Carter faced using the current satellite systems of earth, which weren't up to scratch and Carter didn't feel like upgrading some stranger's work.
In the end, he also designed some new satellites and rockets, though they were reduced in size and streamlined, Esmond made them along with the conventional satellites currently in orbit.
He thought about the current strength he wielded and even tried within the Virtual World to through a simulated rocket of the same dimensions into space with his brute strength.
Considering the average humans stats didn't go past 5, Esmond was a monster in compassion, with his training being the old thing to save him from causing untold damaging from not holding back his strength.
The rocket could enter low orbit from his throw along, though it would create a huge sonic boom from the calculations taken by the lab instruments.
So, Esmond created a production line within the lab and used infinite space each lab contained to design it.
From the basic form of the materials entering to them being made into a finished product and then the rocket.
It was all designed in the lab before it accepted his work, adding it to the library and informing Carter.
.
The same thing happened for the droids, thought there were some adjustments to the diagram that created the appearance of the polymer skin that would go over the skeletal frame and bioorganic organs that helped fuelled and operate the droids.
The power cell he'd made earlier was included to power the plasma rifles and droids, so the bioorganic organs would help refuel the cells as well while working to reduce the possibly of functional failure out in the field.
He'd created larger cells to fuel the ships he'd created from small cruisers, destroyers, aircraft carriers and submarine.
Because he was still deciding on the military vehicles, he would use other than what was made by Carter already, these designs were for his Phantom army in a couple years, if not for the special division of soldiers.
So, Esmond designed the basic structures of the major military vessels, leaving space to work on, as he designed the non-civilian vehicles.
His helicopters ranged from attacks that used plasma weapons energized from the power cells because of the energy they contained the little energy the weapons utilised to perform, increasing their efficiency.
Weapon rockets were fuel based but Esmond had his own plasma engine rockets which helped with the accuracy and controlled attack.
He planned to use the same for his planes, so it was best for him to create them now than waiting.
.
Even the helicopters, from the utility, cargo, anti-submarine, and more he'd designed and planned to finish work on, used an updated engine, removing the rotary blades and going with plasma engines.
His miniature power cells from another life were incredibly powerful plus the space had the capabilities to the refuel them without any issues or extended duration of time through the new nuclear power stations Carter built along with the particle accelerator power station for the sole purpose to increase recharging speeds.
There was a way to do it through wireless means and recharge every power cell remotely, however Esmond needed his new satellites he designed in space and another program solely focused on managing the charged levels within the power cells.
Esmond worked hard to create 100 plus projects which nearly drove him insane, because of the pace he was working, but at the end of his time within the Virtual Labs for the day, Esmond was more than satisfied with the results of his tireless working.

Esmond awoke in the bed, overly delighted with the work he was able to complete.
What made him so happy was the work he did on editing and reprograming the Space Cruiser Cloaking System V5 for his vehicles, drones, satellites, and other items being created within the space that would be used for militaristic work.
It was difficult to reprogram at first since the power the system drew was far too great and would be pointless for aircrafts and ships as it would draw all of the energy from the power cells used to power the engines and operational systems.
Having fixed the F/A-37 Talon to deal with its responsive time that was affecting how the aircraft operated, down mainly to receptive systems which needed improved communication systems.
Esmond added the cloaking system onto a simulated Talon and tried to see if anyone could pick up on it.
Based on the information the Virtual World had of the outside world, it could accurately replicate radar systems that were used by the military and try to find the aircraft in action however it failed to find anything.
Much to Esmond's delight and joy.
.
Esmond saw the cloak to his left on the bedside table which indicated it was the 9th of February 2008 and his Daily Wheel of Chance was available.
Since midnight had struck and Esmond was going straight upstairs to his room to sleep, he activated the wheel before heading to bed, instead of waiting any longer.

What joy remained to be pulled from his heart was drawn out at the sight of the new mineral his space had recognised from the daily reward.
He knew a certain bit about the Star Wars world but not to the level of certain people on earth however he had the schematics of the magna guards that used phrik in their production.
They were built with phrik since its indestructible properties helped them battle against jedis lightsabres, however it eventually became less important with the eradication of jedis and was used for industrial purposes much later on.
.
"Carter…"
"Don't worry" Carter appeared beside Esmond, already informed about the arrival of the new metallic compound within the space, "I've already updated the design and production of the Phantom Droids, which will be classified under PD-01A."
"Alright, how are the new recruits going?"
Esmond asked about the several A.I systems he'd created while in the Virtual Lab and extracted their files from the lab so he could use them in the space.
"You'd be surprised to learn, just like Echo, they were also improved automatically by the space once I extracted their files from the Virtual Labs.
I have to say though, it only happened once they were uploaded into the mainframe and servers that would house them.
Similarly, they are housed in their own major facilities that can be expanded on."
Along with Kane, who was created for military purposes, ED upgraded from the simple program for Echo to manage into its own artificial intelligence, named Eddie that would take care of the business operations, management, and finances, both internal and external.
.
Gabriel was created as the welfare manager and civilian operations-based A.I to deal with the people inside the space to keep information on the people so it knew what to improve or deal with for improved satisfaction of the civilians.
It was also made to deal with medical procedures and was currently focused on the A.I World, conducting billions of operations at once, constantly improving operational systems and developing its neutral network.
Gabriel would also deal with academic and government management problems.
Esmond needed it to deal with managing the populous of the space but mainly for future prospective when he would be ruling over regions.
They were all working away diligently in the A.I World, with Echo taking on a supportive role to Carter and developing its skills in all fields.'
Its current job was to deal with the industrial and production of goods, with Carter looking over its work, but since they were working within the A.I World, they started creating their own bodies like Carter, however they were still trying to adjust their own states and likes.
.
"Fair enough, I am heading off to bed.
Let me know if anything urgently needs my attention, otherwise don't bother me…"
Esmond shifted from the underground mancave into his room and fell on his bed as he passed out for the evening.
Knowing he was about to fall into a deep sleep, Carter moved to the Necthea institution as the full body dive gear was set up, with the access to the Virtual Labs given to the scientists.
The citizens also had access, but they had to go to cafes with the full body dive gear as they couldn't be taken home just yet, so the people went to the cafes instead.
Only the scientists were able to get their own dedicated building to the hundreds of the full body dive gear.
Carter walked into the building as he appeared before the entrance, already sensing that the building was packed with eager scientists.
As he entered, he saw the chattering crowds turn silent at his arrival with their attention all glued to him.
He headed over to the small platform with a mic that recorded his voice and cameras set up to display his face throughout the huge venue.
.
All the eager faces were focused on Carter as they stood before the small beds with a monitor connected to the side that allowed someone to monitor their condition, however with Carter and the other A.Is around, there would be closely monitored.
"Listen up chums, Lord Esmond is currently asleep and resting.
With 183 projects opened within the labs and currently operational, you are more than behind in comparison to Es- *Cough* I mean Lord Esmond.
Take your time within the labs as you don't need to rush ahead to match the greatness of our stup- *cough* amazing Lord, but I hope you all learn from each of the projects he has opened.
Work wherever you want and on whatever project you feel like, just make the most of your time.
Now… have fun!"
Some of the crowd of scientists had puzzled expressions wondering if they heard things right, trying to figure out if Carter was insulting them and their lord, but from that they had come to learn from the other residents of the space, Carter was considered like a second son and administrator of the space, so nobody questioned him.
Most people were too focused on getting into the bed and turning on their headgear, too keen to enter the labs.
Those that had already switched them on and were in bed, summoned outside the entrance to the Virtual Labs in their own body simulated within the Virtual World as they all raced in and were hounded similarly like Esmond by the rush of information.
Some chose to run towards a lab that piqued their interest while some saw the library as their first place to go and visit before heading elsewhere.
Carter entered the Virtual World for a couple minutes to see how the scientist raced around like sugar rushed kids that lost all rational.
