Long Zhao Feng smirked.
"Well, thankfully I am still alive, hence I contested the decision. Nevertheless, it is wise to prepare for the worst."
Long Zhao Feng tapped on a scroll on the table and drew the attention of both of the women to the content.
"I just finished writing this proposal and plan to submit it tomorrow morning to the palace. I would like the King to grant me the permission to adopt Long Yan as my own. I also appoint Sister-in-law as Long Yan's guardian if anything should happen to me."
The First Madam looked up in surprise.
"Is that possible?" she asked.
"Pretty sure it is, I am Long Yan's only blood-related relative."
The First Madam furrowed the brows and glanced at the content of the proposal. She took the scroll in her hand and walked around while scrutinizing every character and every sentence.
"Feng'er, you missed a detail," She said at the end of her evaluation.
