The soldiers were heavily traumatized by the nightly attack launched by the Hei Kingdom. When they heard that they were going home for the time being, everyone openly celebrated the good news. The next days were spent to install strong barricades around the village for protection and waiting for lacking horses and carriages to arrive at the Golden Lotus Village to take them back home. The sight of soldiers going in and out frightened the recently migrating villagers, so they often sought friendly soldiers and caretakers to inquire about the war situation on hand.
