Yu Fen adjusted her sitting position to a more comfortable one before answering.
"After Young Lady got poisoned, Caretaker Wang brought you back in a haste. You were taken to the hospital and they took off your clothes to check if the poison had spread," she explained while drawing the quilt up to Xiao Yue's shoulders to keep her warm.
Yu Fen did not need to explain further. Xiao Yue sighed. So that was how they were ultimately found out. The poor hospital staff must be surprised to discover that the Xiao Ya who had been working with them was in actuality a woman. They had treated her as a man the whole time.
