The uncomfortable silence stretched in the room as the people stared at Asteri for a reaction. Margarita continued to cry as she looked at Asteri but if you were keen enough than you had see that instead of grief a mixture of mockery and loathing will be present in her eyes. She hated this elder sister of her's with every fibre she had in her body. There was no reason for this hatred . From the moment she had began to think she had this immense feelings of dislike that she had started brewing this trap of completely removing this thorn to her eyes from this world.

"Asteri apologize to your sister ,now!?"There was immense anger and authority in this tone of Greta but Asteri was not the least bit affected. She calmly finished her food before starting to talk. "I am sorry" she said, she was really tired and her head was throbbing with pain. She had no desire to explain nor had the time to play this petty game of cat and mouse. "You..!!" Marco was infuriated. His eyes glazed with coldness stared at this daughter of his that he still didn't seem to understand after raising her fo 16 years. Greta too seemed to be disappointed with her as she looked at Asteri with complicated eyes. As the mother she could not understand why her daughter was always this indifferent. Why was she never able to get close? Sighing, she turned to her husband who seemed to be defeated as he looked at their eldest daughter. "Marco" she called.

Marco turned to his wife who signalled him not to continue on the said topic anymore. They had something more important to discuss. "Margarita finish your breakfast dear, and do stop crying please." Greta softly coaxed her crying daughter."Yes, your sister has apologized so there is no need to dwell further in this uncomfortable topic" Margarita had no choice but to obediently nod her head and stop crying otherwise the one to anger her parents would be herself but she couldn't help but grit her teeth in silence.

As the room once more returned to silence, an important topic surfaced. Greta looked at Asteri with a small smile and said "Asteri, your debutante ball is in two months. Have you chosen your dress?"
