"You've impressed me. Let me send you to the afterlife," Kores commented, and his center eye blinked.
The next moment, the space around Oregon started fragmenting into shards. The process continued for a while. Oregon didn't even understand what was happening to him since he felt nothing.
A few seconds later, the space started to get restored automatically. When it got entirely repaired, Oregon was nowhere to be found. Except for a square card that had appeared out of nowhere, nothing was there.
"Eh!" Kores exclaimed in surprise, seeing the card floating in the air.
The square card looked nothing but ordinary, yet it had survived the ultimate attack of Kores, giving him an expression of surprise.
