While the blood curse has consistently brought harm to the loved ones of the firstborn female bearing it, it hasn't been entirely without its silver linings. Each time the curse is passed from mother to daughter, the experiences and challenges faced with it embed themselves within the daughter's genes. While direct memories aren't transferred, certain feelings, habits, and a strong will are. These innate characteristics help the daughter to somewhat contain the curse, or at least seek assistance, even if minimal.
This process can be likened to genetic coding, passed from mother to daughter. Because of this genetic legacy, the daughter's body instinctively counters the curse, limiting its destructive potential. But for Minxy, this safeguard wasn't in place. The curse didn't come directly from her mother, who might have provided guidance and knowledge. Instead, she inherited it from her father. This unexpected twist not only intensified the curse but also altered its nature. Everyone, especially her grandmother, had believed the curse ended with the previous generation. However, in reality, it had mutated into a much more malignant version, now affecting anyone, be it stranger or family, friend or foe.
The only potential remedy lies in Minxy's capacity to fall profoundly and unreservedly in love. By fully entrusting her heart and mind to another, the curse would be restrained, not affecting her true love. Yet, resolving the curse in this manner brings its own complications. If the curse is lifted and the supernatural world awakens, with memories restored, what then? Immortal creatures like vampires and werewolves, some potentially alive since the curse's inception 12,000 years ago, would roam the Earth once more. And with the resurgence of powerful witches, warlocks, and other entities, chaos could engulf the world.
