A clink from my mug echoed through the forest, the birds flew as they heard the sharp noise of the spoon stirring in the mug. Then suddenly, I heard footsteps from the forest.
"You're up early." I spoke as I saw Scarlet already frowning when she sees me unhurt.
"Doesn't seem fair."
"What is?"
There was a small silence between us, eventually the silence broke when Frisk went by.
"You guys are up early."
"It's a habit." Scarlet replied with a smug face.
I looked at their injuries, wrapped in bandages; I couldn't help but feel guilty.
"How are your injuries?" I took a sip from the mug
"Ah, I'm alright, Frisk would've felt the same." Scarlet touched her bandages on her arm and glanced at Frisk.
"No need to worry about it, we both can recover from these injuries, besides, you already healed us back from the cellar, we haven't thanked you yet." Frisk smiled and bowed like a servant.
I just looked at him and finished my coffee then threw the mug away.
"For now, the only plan I have in mind is to look for Hollow…again."
"Finding him is easy but, keeping him from escaping away is the most challenging part." Scarlet frowned, probably recalling the times when Hollow first betrayed us and escaped.
"I've asked help from the 8th department Captain of the Deathbringer group, Kageyama Shishio. He has laid out a plan to trap Hollow.
"What if Shishio is not to be trusted?"
"Don't worry, this time around, he has no choice but to face us, his only option is to look for me since I was the only person who knows about their plans."
"What were his plans all about?" Frisk furrowed his eyebrows, curiosity mingled his mind.
If I were to tell about Shishio's plans now, the chances of these two being alive is at risk.
"Unfortunately, he sealed the plans in my mouth with a magic spell, probably be able to kill me if I utter another word about their plans." I frowned to make my lie more convincing.
Frisk nodded, meanwhile Scarlet didn't buy it, she just crossed her arms and looked away in the forest.
"…" I just sighed and smiled, knowing that they could do nothing about it.
I always knew something was coming for me, something I wasn't afraid of, but something I am worried about, 'cause I'm leaving my allies behind.
I knew it, I could feel it coming.
The rumbling of the forest trees, and birds flying away from their homes, I could feel it, the fear they felt when someone powerful has arrived.
"You're late."
I frowned as my anticipation about something has really happened. Shishio was right behind me.
"Don't I need a good long rest since I've done my mission?" I shrugged at him with smug face.
"Every favourite of mine can do whatever they want after a mission but…"
Shishio smiled as he looked at two of my allies, standing with glassy eyes, stone hard, they couldn't move because of fear.
"…as long as you did your mission, and it was successful, no matter where you go, I can always find you, and come get you every time."
Immense and strong aura surrounded him, and him having a chill smile on his face. Bastard.
"Well, that's about it. I'll be taking your precious Eve right here." Shishio lightly gripped my shoulders, telling me to follow along or there will be consequences.
"Hey!" Scarlet shouted with angry eyes, preparing herself to attack Shishio.
"It's okay. This is a part of their plan, and my plan. It is necessary to follow them, since it could lead me to better answers." I ended up making a whole lie.
"But…" Frisk couldn't help Scarlet from stopping me from going with them.
"It is necessary, you should go and take a rest now, you can handle the rest with yourselves right?" I faintly smiled and then turned away to walk with Shishio.
Further, and further. Every step I took was heavy and random, I could feel the light thought in my head to turn back and be with them, but, just as I said; it is necessary.
I left with Shishio and the other party members of the department.

On the floating boat, soaring in the skies, a gentle breeze flew over my hair, making it shaggy.
"Congratulations!"
I looked behind, after hearing Shishio with a delighted tone in his throat.
"What for?"
"You are officially a member of the 8th department of the Deathbringer group!" Shishio clapped his hands.
"It's nothing worth congratulating for." I looked away and continued to watch the clouds.
"Well, to sum it all up, you even left your companions behind, you didn't even try to fight me for escaping away." Shishio walked up beside me and just like me, he watched the clouds innocently.
To think that this innocent looking person has plans to destroy humanity and retrieve peace with violence.
Suddenly, I felt a slight chill down my spine.
"Look. He's here." Shishio smiled and I looked at where he was looking at; below, the city of Fieurch, Central Berfiucht.
Hollow was standing there on plain air, with ease. He raised his arms with red marks on it, dark red, like blood being stuck upon his skin.
I watched his mouth whispering something, the next thing I knew; a powerful force blew from him.
Powerful, so powerful that the floating boat was destroyed. Falling down the ground, dusty wind and crumbling buildings.
The sound of rocks crumbling apart, the smoke surrounding the impact, it was all because of Hollow's spell. The ground was dented, like a hammer repeatedly deepening the crust.
The cries of children and people heard from the trampled buildings. The annoying cries of pain when you feel your legs coming off your body.
Blood splattered throughout the city, like a group of mosquitoes being smashed at one go. And at the middle of it all, above; Hollow was enjoying the sight he created with just a whisper of his mouth.
I fell down from the floating boat, the impact wasn't severe since I got hit by a tree.
I stood up, staggering, probably a temporary effect from the blast. The next thing I knew; I blacked out.

The sight of a mother carrying its dead child being trampled with heavy stones, lifeless, with bulging wide eyes, hopeless sight is what all they could see.
The ground, was again, water, the same thing happened in my dream.

Overwhelming power brought me down to my knees, strong force was applied

I woke up by the sound of someone painfully shouting.

I glanced behind, seeing Shishio staggering on the ground, having difficulty to stand up.
I couldn't clearly see, my other eye was blocked with dripping blood from my forehead.
"Despicable leech."
That voice…
"FVCK SHIT! AAAAGHHH!!" The uncontrollable gasping of air from Shishio's breathing was obvious, he couldn't breathe properly.
I looked down on his chest, impaled with a wooden beam, ruptured lungs. That's got to hurt.
"All this time, your plans of changing the world has utterly disgusted me. You…are not worthy to set foot in this world."
Hollow was gripping Shishio by the neck and choking him to death. "Agh…Kh….Ghh….rghh…." Shishio was desperately kicking his legs to at least bring damage to Hollow, Hollow didn't bulge.
I've got to stand up! I pushed myself from the ground with my trembling arms, the feeling of being torn apart by the overstretched muscles.
Shit!
"Agh!" I kicked over something. Ah, my left foot was stuck. Shit.
I looked back at Shishio, he was struggling to survive. The tiniest bit of energy left in his body allowed him to cast a spell, an explosive one.
BAM
Although it was weak, it was enough for him to escape from Hollow's hands
"You got past it again. You always seem to surprise me." Hollow smiled, then dashed towards Shishio with black eyes, an eerie silhouette that surrounded the two.
Hollow attempted to slash Shishio with sharp long claws, enough to stab him through the skull, Shishio slid back and charged with all his might.
Blue flames appeared at his hands, a fire spell, a powerful one, very powerful it'll burn you alive.
Shishio shouted like it was the last battle of his life. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH!!!"
He landed a punch on Hollow and a backlash of the blue flames slightly burned Hollow.
"Bastard." Hollow grabbed him by the neck again, and this time, he has his sharp long claws out, slowly aiming for his eyes.
"They say that the eyes…are the opening of the soul." Hollow pierced through Shishio's eyes. And blood squirted out from his sockets. The dark red colour of blood, and the slimy texture of an eyeball was clearly seen from my point of view.
"Shit!" I silently shouted.
I didn't think that Hollow would hear it. The cause of him turning his head towards me and slowly approaching me with immense and powerful aura.
"Next."
Hollow dashed towards me and grabbed me by the neck. Seriously, does this guy have some neck fetish?
The immense strength resulted on me being able to free from the debris that injured my foot.
"You. Get out."
"Huh?" I suddenly feel nauseous
"Get."
