(Skip this lore if you just want to read the story without world building, cause on account of me being dumb this may hardly even make sense to most of the readers. Not to mention its a blatent exosition dump based loosly off of FF concepts, random homebrew ideas, and magic)

"Since the begining there have always been three realms, the Natura plane where most creatures and laws of the universe exist, the Ascendant plane where the powers of creation live, and the Inter plane where the powers of destruction dwell."

"On the Natura plane exists all the known races of beasts, though only a few were able to use complex thought, starting with the first civilization known as the Lucian empire. Not much was known about them except that they then enlightened other more primitive races to their ways until one day their massive cities and giant mechinizations suddenly went lifeless with the entire history and people disapearing. Through the next millennia of evolution and inovation the races which the Lucians enlightened have conqoured a fair share of the fertile lands, building many kingdoms and even a few empires of their own, but none of them lasted for to long crumbling back down to city states. To this day no one knows what happened to the Lucian empire, or what race the first Lucians even were with the only thing left to even prove of their existance being the ruins littered through-out the world.

Currently the world 'human' is used much more loosely than it would be in a world with only mankind, now with it being an umbrella term for any race who was able to use rational thought. Which this would mainly refer to the following; Mankind, Elves, Beastmen, Dwarves, Hob-Goblins, Orcs, Ogres, and Variants who are of course a mix breed of other races. Though these are only the most commonly seen races who have decided it best to not exclude themselves from the others, as some other races have decided through either their pride or instincts to stick to their own races and avoiding the human races. These ones are not exactly considered beasts, but also wouldn't exactly be a glad sight to the us and likely the same the other way around as well. The ones that are easily recognisable are the; Goblins, Kobolds, Draconians, and some even claim a race of true Dragons to exist. Of course these races are only those that either trade on occasion with the human races or for the case of the goblins and kobolds, simply harrass us. Though there are also the feral beasts like bears, wolves, and slimes of course!"

"Around 500 years ago from the current time is when the big discovery was made, the discovery of the Asendant plane and the creation energies leaking from it into what was now deemed the 'Natura' plane. At the time there was a great force of 3 empires who worked together and discovered how to harness the energies and refined them into the first magical elements; water, earth, wind, and light. Useing these new powers the empires improved the life of their citizens and for the next 100 years human races flourished... but that all soon came to a crashing halt as one of the empires, the Terron empire, was discovered to have been tampering with a different source of power, another plane which was named 'Inter' due to the nature of the destructive nature of the powers it possesed.

Inter, unlike the Ascendant plane was now awaken and, seemed almost alive as it began activly breaking through to the Natura plane through the hearts of all the beasts, not just the feral animal but even some of the human races were alficted with the corruption. The Terron empire was the first to fall as it was suddenly overrun by powerful savage beasts which hollowed the life out of cities, killing any thing in their path. The feral beasts of Terron were also aflicted by inter and without exception all of them evolved from the dark power turning them into what are now known as 'deamons'. The continant where the Terron empire was located is not considered the dead land.

Knowing they had to limit the spread of the Inter's corruption the remaining empires made a pact, where one empire would focus on gathering resources to fuel the new war the other would prepare new soldiers to defeat the deamons. Though for the next decade through loss after loss the human races learned that they were out matched and would soon face mass extinction as they couldn't even break through the outer most forests of the continent to check the cities for survivors. When all hope seemed lost though some man revealed a new invention that would offer salvation, for he created the Barrier. The Barrier allowed being from the Ascendant realm to enter Natura. These beings that came through were nothing short of gods from myth as they used their powers to seal away the dead continent.

Before vanishing the beings then left the humans one last gift, a crystal which contained the knowledge of a new magic, one which was now unique and already was possible in the Natura world, the human races then rebuilt their empires into the one that exists today using the new power of the crystal. Your now probably wondering what kind of magic the crystal gives, well it was the power of technomancy. The ability to harnass both the powers of Natura's unique element of electricity, and the many different metalic mineral deposits throught the ground. They called the creations magi-tek as it seemed to be a mix of tools and magic. We were able to then use the new knowledge to create golems, artifacts, and many other items which improved the average quality of life."
