BODY REFINERS

Commonly found in the Middle-Western Continent of Drusa. Many crave the chance to gain the powers of a body refiner, even the weakest of the famous refiners gain an advantage over their mortal counterparts. High-level refiners inadvertently gain the aspects of longer lives, allowing them to far outlive those who remain at the bottom of the refining hierarchy.

Power Levels

Stage 1: Bone Refiners (Low -> Mid -> High -> Peak)

Biological Modification - Bone Refiners attain an internal strength through consistent refining of their bones. The bones eventually become nigh indestructible, allowing the Bone Refiners to avoid injuries that may fracture bones. Unfortunately, the remaining of their mortal flesh is as prone to damage, as any armour less common folk.

Stage 2: Muscle Refiners (Low -> Mid -> High -> Peak)

Historical Accounts - Muscle Refiners enjoy much fame and wealth. They are highly sought after individuals on the Continent. Many Peak Muscle Refiners head their own Houses, and contest for the right to become Major Lords. High & Mid Stage Muscle Refiners can usually be found amongst the Lesser Lords. While Low Muscle Refiners act as Knights or Higher Vassals to the Major Lords.

Biological Modification - Muscle Refiners focus on the refinement of muscles. Although it does not bolster their strength, it drastically increases the endurance and durability of the individual's muscle fibres, allowing one to gain an extreme defensive advantage over others. It is also in this stage that a mysterious development occurs within the Refiner, which begins to slow the aging process.

Stage 3: Surface Refiners (Low -> Mid -> High -> Peak)

Historical Accounts - At the moment, very little is known about the Surface Refiners and notably few have managed to reach the Peak. There have been many reports of individuals that have reached such a stage, and a few Kings & Major Lords are also known to have achieved success in their pursuit of Body Refinement.

Biological Modification - ???

Unconfirmed Accounts - Rumour suggests there are many hidden individuals, lurking around the Continent. Some have not only grasped Surface Refinement, but also delved into the mysterious fourth stage and beyond. Perhaps they can only be found in the vast lands of The Empire Drusa.
