Chereads / I The Weakest Hero Was Reincarnated A Second Time / Chapter 7 - - Unexpected Visitor

Chapter 7 - - Unexpected Visitor

Going on adventures are intriguing, but I could say that they are new and exciting with all that had happened before yesterday, but here I am now looking vastly beyond the broad sea, feeling the rocky movements of the ship as it set sails into anywhere it could go.

"Hm... how I would have loved to be a sailor, it'd be great if I could hear the lull of the sea for myself with her by me..." I deeply sighed from the loud noises coming from the middle deck and upper deck.

"Oi! Scurvy dogs it's time for supper!" yelled the captain as he dragged on saying it nearly four times in different languages.

The men were quite obnoxious, but that's more than what I had to endure as I'm already set in stone for some inevitable circumstance I've been in.

unfortunate that my time was cut short from leaving that village, I'd say for certain I'm quite content just living in the house for all eternity; yes I'm not fond of adventuring due to that unforeseeable past that gave me a stressful time, although I would still comply to the woman's wishes, even if I break a leg she will find a way to take me someplace strange.

"Master are you going to grab some grub?" spoke the woman walking up to me and speaking in a different dialect.

"No, or maybe? I don't want to know if I want to..." I muttered sadly.

"Oh really? come here for a second..." That's what the woman said, but I moved slightly back.

She pouted and grabbed my shoulders in for a kiss, then hugged me telling me that'll it be fine, although I sighed and bitterly said, "Ah... sure, I can probably get over this haha."

And after hearing what I said, she replied to my tone, "Master if there are any problems you are facing, then I'll be here to face them with you, I'm not going to sit around and wait for you to get off your bum, you are mine and I will protect you!" I stared at her wondering why she had to go and say something like that, but I was happy to hear that, and kissed her back and told her that I've loved her like none other before.

Which of course made her smile widely, snuggling my chest while I groaned but stayed silent and smiled back while patting her head lovingly, although she purred loudly causing some crewmates to let out a large smile on their faces also winking through the door, which had made me embarrassed, to say the least.

I found it refreshing after a while once I got on the ship and met so many people, from the chaos from yesterday to today, I'd say I'm more active than I was before, though I'm still doing nothing from time to time or just sitting around reading my favorite book, with some brewed tea from the woman who knows how to please my tastes, and well other extreme activities along with it.

My session of peace was disrupted shortly after as I heard someone shout. "You scurvy dogs! it's time to release the anchors and raise the flag from the mast, get right to it while I go steer the ship." a familiar voice called out loudly which was the captain of the ship.

"Eh? do we have to..." the crewmates looked in despair while I was indifferent.

With a mischievous look on my face, I said, "Come on now, it's not difficult to do it unless y'all are some lazy bum's!" I smiled evilly, helping them as fast as I could by myself.

They were tearing up, however, and started calling me their savior when all I did was do their work for them, surprisingly enough the woman waved at me while I was at the top of the mast wrapping the flag open.

"This should be good enough, I wonder where the captain is taking us." I began to brainstorm but got no idea where we are going.

Once I got finished, I went back to my room to concentrate my energy for its surprising uses, that's when large splash sounds hit the water with canons and explosive barrels also making loud noises, shaking the ship, making me overly stressed.

"W-we're being attacked!" a loud voice with a hint of quivering in his tone called out.

Caught in a chain of chaos going on outside, I went up to peak through a trapdoor on top of my room as I used a ladder to get up.

Canons were still firing off, and my a glint of foresight I saw people coming onto the ship by climbing up it, whilst getting their sword out, in a rash of impulse I jumped straight up the deck and dashed forward to knock the enemies off.

Filled with such disbelief that another ship wanted to cause us trouble, I finally had it with this adventure and told the captain, "Why is this happening?" then rambled on some more, "what have you done to get them this angry!" in a fit of utter frustration.

"It's because I have a bounty on me lad!" the captain looked at me nervously.

"Oh is this what's all the fuss about, oi!" I waved while shouting out to the ship nearly crashing into us; "I'll give you all... no even better, 100 Sol if you leave us alone!"

In shock, everyone on this ship whispered if I can carry that much Sol, to which I shook my head although they were wary of my words, though the other ship's captain came out to accept the offer I made.

"You with the ragged cloak, are you a merchant?" he said as loudly as he could, crossing his arms to look superior.

"No, Geezer!" I replied, putting my hand on my chest.

A little hurt after I called him old, he began to tell me to hand over the cash as fastly so he can leave us be; with my skills and a distinct smile on my face, I grabbed a box and inserted all the Sol in it and enclosed the lid, then proceeded to throw it to him with great precision that took the old man by surprise, but luckily he caught it perfectly and left immediately after.

"Wait that's all it took?" my voice sounded surprised.

Suddenly a shiver went down my spine from behind, I gulped and turned to come face to face with a ferocious woman standing some meters away from me, holding a whip ready to smack someone with it.

"Uh, how are you my sweet blonde hair, cute mistress." I shuddered a bit but kept my composure.

The woman standing glared at me momentarily, and by the flash of the light she was right into my face, and I was surprised she had such speed as the first time she tied up some bandits awhile back.

"Ito-san..." the woman called out to me in a formal way.

"Uh... why are you using my last name for?" I told the woman, taking small steps background as she got closer.

"Half of our savings..." she shrugged but continued, "we can make more, but Ito you've just decided to have lost all that money for when we get off here to find another place to live." I knew that immediately once I got the Sol out, but it was the only way to prevent damage done to the ship and crewmates and its captain.

"I don't think I can go off the hook like this, but you know it was the only choice I had since we didn't have anything else valuable on this ship nor could we try to bargain," I exclaimed.

With a quick breath in and sighed outwards, the woman placed her whip elsewhere and came back walking up over to me and grabbing my shoulders, popping some stressed stiffness in it which felt weird, and looked up at my face scarily and said menacingly, "Don't do it again." in which I replied by shaking my head, and finally she let me go and smiled darkly which left me scarred.

That's when something fell from the sky and came crashing down the ship, and everyone was in a panic because the ship was sort of sinking but with the help of repairers it got fixed after the woman and I came to check the man who came down from the sky, and once we got close the dust cleared and laying down on the floor who had blonde hair and wearing some questionable clothing's on him.

"Sheesh... what just happened?" The man spoke and stood up without many wounds and didn't seem bothered from crashing out of the sky.

The woman stood in front of me and told me she'd protect me, and sneered at the suspicious man who had a peculiar look on his face, and turned to us and jolted realizing something.

"Yo, Liam how've you been bro?" Waving his hand at me specifically and shouted, which I simply turned back due to knowing something.

"I... Have no idea who you are talking to." I mumbled wanting to not answer him.

"Don't need to be shy, I know you're a silent boy when you were still alive in that world." Winked the blonde-haired man.

"Master, do you know this person?" Asked the woman.

"Ahaha, I don't know who this is..." and was stopped due to the blonde hair man stopping my sentence midway through.

"Don't need to be so forgetting sheesh, and whose that next to you? is that your girlfriend?" The man asked.

"You're still the same as ever huh Lex." I finally gave up and said his name.

"Liam, did you get reincarnated here too? you've grown up to be a big man." Lex chuckled a lot.

"Yeah... How did you get reincarnated anyway?" I questioned him due to the sudden surprise of Lex coming here.

"Hm... I fulfilled my life along the way, Liam you shouldn't stay distant though like how you're being right now." Lex told me, who's hoping to get along with me again.

"You could've been reincarnated somewhere else, but this is a sort of pleasant shock that you came to this world first," I said.

"Well Liam, I'll ask you something real quick, where are we exactly?" as Lex examined the area.

"I'll let you know first that we are not in a world with magic," I told Lex.

"Hm?" It's not as he seems displeased, but rather typical about it due to me, his friend lending him my novel preferences that he'd probably enjoy.

"I don't mind that much Liam ya' know," Lex said to me staring off into the distance.

It was an awkward situation and pondered for not too long but with a huff and a puff I remained calm and asked the woman to greet my friend who was smirking at me, and I had a feeling this is fun for him which exactly what had me bewildered by the strange event.

"Well yeah, but I don't know if you are fine with living in this normal world that does have a few strange missing components from being average like earth back in our world." I shrugged.

"Well I'll be staying here mate and if you need anything come ask me, make sure your girlfriend is also taken care of, you'll need it." Lex grinned before giving us a wave and asked the captain to have his separate cabin on this ship, and the captain agreed to it shockingly.

"Master... You didn't tell me you had a friend." said the woman who made me jump after I was lost in deep thought.

"Phew... you almost scared me there, though I apologize for not telling you sooner, I don't think there was a need to right?" I questioned without much thought.

"You've got a point Master, but I would like to know all of you. Every single bit of fiber of your life." the woman smiled before kissing me on the cheeks surprisingly.

Flustered I walked back to my cabin, hoping she was going to help the other crewmates out but followed me regardless and told me to hug her which I had, and suddenly passed out again.

(Sometime later...)

the voice who sounded very familiar spoke

With a stressed disturbance in my mind, I ignored that very voice who called out to me on purpose; hoping it will just leave me be.

the shadow in my mind questioned with a menacing and huge smile on his face.

"No, we are not!" I spoke out aloud, almost losing my cool.

he told me.

"Well maybe I don't, why do all of this when you can go to another host for your little game?" I quivered at the thought of what his about to say next.

he chuckled a bit but was being serious from the calming words he spoke.

Those words terrified me, and if I did lose control then what would happen, I didn't want to know that's for sure but I have to face what's coming next.

the shadow said before giving me more painstaking energy that was horrendous this time around, boggling my mind endlessly.

before forcing me to wake up.

With a jolt and an aching head I woke up with an icepack on my head; which did feel blissful but still hurt just as much when I met the mysterious shadow.

"One day I will repay the guy with a good beat if he was some entity controlling me." I sighed and tried to go back to sleep with the woman next to me wrapping her arms around my waist sound asleep, which I realized the moment I woke up and turned to kiss her on the forehead, turning back with a slight smile that someone was there for me.

And with that, although the experience was a bit strange for what it is. I Liam the past hero of my world, the woman who is still currently my girlfriend, and captain of the crewmates of this ship with an addition to the Protagonists friend Lex continued our journey to the vast seas of the water.
