Draco dismissed the driver. Riley was still sleeping, and Draco did not want to wake him. He stepped out of the car first, bent down, and slipped an arm on Riley's back and another under his legs.
Draco was about to haul Riley up when the youth stirred. His eyelids shivered open to reveal hazel orbs clouded with confusion.
Leaning backward to scrutinize Draco, whose face was only inches from his, the boy asked, "Huh? What are you doing?"
Draco did not answer the youth's question, however, said, "We're home." He remained bent for a while, staring, captivated by the glowing rings of Riley's pupils, before he pulled his hands away from under Riley and moved his body out of the car, straightening.
