UNDERGROUND PASSAGE
THE CAVE OF PROPHECY
"It all started during the last war that was fought on the borders a few months ago," Eugeo said.
Will started listening to him while looking at the engraved stone behind him.
FOUR MONTHS AGO
LAN KYLAMON, BORDER TOWN OF VENPINE
1 HOUR BEFORE THE WAR
The Venpine Kingdom was an underwater kingdom established on Saphris Island together with two more neighboring kingdoms, Blackapal and Wastria, as the descendants of the Fish-men species.
The Blackapal kingdom covered the country from the north-east, the Wastria kingdom protected it from the north-west side, and a large wall-like structure reaching above the surface, closing it from the back-side, making it the safest place in case of any danger.
But there was a little gap that separated the three of them from each other, the independent town, Lan Kylamon.
It was a small town connecting all three entrances together. Even though it was affiliated with Venpine it was provided with a separate authority to be treated as a kingdom of its own.
The reason being-
"Uh-huh, I don't want to hear that boring tale once again. How many times are you gonna tell me the same thing?" Riho asked.
"You should silently listen to these interesting past of ours so that you don't regret it after dying," Takashi said.
A total of five people were camping near the border, a little far from the residential area of the town. There were many soldiers around, some fixing their weapons, some preparing for strategies, and others talking to each other and enjoying their time.
"Now, now, I wouldn't be so sure about it, Takashi," Daiki said.
"Mm-hmm, what do you expect from him? Satan sits on his tongue whenever he speaks something." Akito said while slurping his tea from a small paper cup.
"Whether we die or we don't die, it doesn't matter. Why? Because this accursed world is gonna kill us eventually." Eiji said while gesturing with his mouth and expressions.
"Pfft, it just sounded like Takashi," Akito said as he spewed the tea out of his mouth.
"W-What are you doing, Akito-senpai?! It almost spilled it on me ." Riho shouted as he backed off from the bench.
"Ah, sorry, sorry, it was just wrong timing and nothing else."
"Jokes aside, you shouldn't take the situation lightly this time. I don't think they sent almost one-third of the army to have a sip of tea together." Takashi said.
"Because we have such a big number with us, it's realistic to feel secure. Don't worry about it too much. Whatever it is, we will be over with it quickly and have a banquet together with the king." Daiki said.
"Yeah, and we are getting loads of money so…of course we would be careful than ever," Akito said.
"Do we even need to worry about anything? We have a huge army with us right now and the king even summoned the sea kings. I can't imagine us dying or even losing." Riho asked.
"That's what it means to be a frog in a well. You still haven't seen the dread caused during a war. Just don't be careless." Takashi said.
"Yeah, don't worry. If the worse comes, I will be the one to protect you all." Eiji said.
"Hahaha, nice joke. There's no point of us being here if we have to depend on you." Daiki said.
"Yeah, we are not called the five fingers just for show. Just you wait, I will be the first one to finish it all." Akito said as he crushed the empty paper cup with his hand.

SOUTH TO THE ARMY UNIT OF THE FIVE FINGERS
"Ah, quickly, quickly, somewhere, I need an empty place." A soldier said as he ran towards the border fence while covering his phallus with both hands.
He quickly unlocked his bottom suitcase and released the laser on one corner of the wall.
"Aaaaa, it feels like a load off my head."
—The chief should've set half of the five fingers on our side too. He is too full of himself and that alone wouldn't suffice.
Suddenly he felt something falling from above.
Since the complete island was underwater it doesn't make sense for something to fall from above. But the system here was a little different from the typical.
Since the people living here were Fish-men, they could breathe on both sides, on the surface, and under the surface with ease.
But to make a more disciplined and proper nation, all the residential areas and most of the field area were covered with air bubbles, of respective sizes to get the feel of the surface while living the aquatic life.
"Oh, it's just a piranha. I wonder how it fell here." He said and pulled up his pants.
"Well, whatever. It wouldn't hurt to help one or two, may as well become a little kinder."
He bent downwards and picked it up with his hand.
"Did you get hurt somewhere, buddy?" He said as he started checking the fish's teeth and obviously, it bit him.
"Ow, what's the big idea?"
"SHWRAAAAAAAAAAA" The fish screamed and attacked the man's face.
Trying to avoid the bite, he lost his balance and fell to the ground.
"What is wro-...damn!!!!" The man suddenly shouted as he looked at the view above him in astonishment.
It was raining. Like drops of water, more piranha fishes started to shower all over the town.
The man looked at the intrusion with a blank expression as he didn't know what to do.
"SHIRSHIRSHIRSHIRSHIRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"
Thousands of fish fell on the ground within few seconds and started reflecting the danger of their sharp fangs as they started eating the flesh of the man.
—Huh? What's happening? Wait, Am I being eaten?!
"Aaaaaaaaarghhh!!!!"
At first, it took the man a few seconds to realize his current condition. But his blank expression soon turned into extreme grief and pain that no one could imagine.
"Aaaa….mfff….Aaaarrrrrrghhhh…Keugh!!"
The fish that were increasing in numbers soon reached his face. His eyes turned completely red as the blood started oozing out from the body gaps. They tore apart his mouth and pulled out his eyes while devouring his skin.
And he was not dead yet. The pain was so extreme that it wasn't letting him die that easily. His hands and legs were gone and they were even biting off on his bones.
Some of them even entered inside his body through his torn mouth and open stomach and started chewing the intestines from the inside, truly a nightmare.
The blood spread everywhere and the soon his surrounding as a whole was flooded with the same, uncountable carnivores.
Only after the fishes opened up his skull and made their way to his brain was he finally able to die. After experiencing a heavy dose of extreme pain and suffering, he was finally devoured by the piranhas into dust.
