"It's a boy!"
"A boy, so Chu Jin he is."
"What a great name."
On the 3rd day of the 9th month of the 203rd year in the new calendar, Wol Chu Jin was born to Wol Kai Liu, and Wol Er Shang.
But instead of crying, Chu Jin was staring at the screen in front of him, trying to decode these symbols.
[Please Craft 100 items before unlocking the system, items crafted: 0]
…
At the age of 1, Chu Jin had deciphered the message, but that didn't help him in achieving his goal.
Chu Jin only started working in the smithery at the age of 5, and even then he was only either watching or helping grab things.
It was only when he reached his 10th birthday that his parents let him finally start helping in the creation of items.
When he was crafting his 100th item, Chu Jin was working with his brother, Wol Ying.
Between melting iron, shaping it, and solidifying the blade, the two of them worked in perfect synchronization.
By the time they had finished, it was dark.

Chu Jin was exhilarated, after 15 years he had finally unlocked his system.
"You good?" Wol Ying asked, concerned for his brother's state.
"Yeah, just thought of something.." Chu Jin replied.
"Hehe, you must be thinking of layla."
Layla Murim was Chu Jin's supposed crush, although he didn't actually like her, he couldn't help but admire her perky features.
Looking down at the sword they had just crafted, a message appeared in the system interface.
[Crafted a Common grade weapon, +5 Craft Points]
[Wol Clan Iron Sword]

Remark: a classic iron sword produced by the Wol Clan, due to a lack of rare recipes, they couldn't produce anything better.
'So it's trash huh' Chu Jin thought, slightly saddened that his family's classic sword was only common rated.
After making their sword, Chu Jin went to his room to see what he could do with the system.
"Shop." Chu Jin called out.

Then Chu Jin went to the mines.
…
Wol Clan was a small clan that occupied an even smaller town, the only resource point they had were the mines, where the prices were overwhelmingly cheaper than market value, as the Wol clan would forcefully buy out all the ores for low prices.
To make money, people relied more on agriculture in soil that is naturally infertile, although the Wol clan would take a small share of crops as well.
Due to the people refusing to mine, the Wol clan's members were forced to mine iron ore themselves.
As the Wol clan was based around blacksmithing, they would usually sell their creations to neighboring towns, a risky business to partake in due to the threat of an invasion.
As for Chu Jin himself, he had a reputation as a young master, while in reality he knew he was nothing in the wide world.
Standing at a height of 5'10, with a wingspan of 6'1, and weighing in at 145 pounds, Chu Jin was a handsome man with a tanned complexion, he had reddish black hair and eyes the color of the sun.
As Chu Jin arrived at the mines, he saw something unusual, there was someone else mining.
The person was short, but had aged features, Chu Jin guessed he was in his mid-20s.
The man was very thin, which paved way to an answer as to why he was mining.
"Hello, how are you doing today." The man asked in a kind voice, but based on tone Chu Jin could tell he wasn't meant to answer.
Without saying anything, Chu Jin grabbed a pickaxe from the tool shelf and started looking for iron.
In this day and age, it would take about an hour to mine a single block of iron, as there was no dynamite or other explosives to mine for you.
When Chu Jin mined iron, he had his mind set on building a plan.
He had never been a motivated guy, as all he wanted to do was unlock the system that had been bugging him, he set no goals otherwise.
Now that he saw clearly the path ahead of him, Chu Jin decided to do everything in his power to follow it up this mountain and make it to the top.
The top of the world.
