Reve dashed through the field.
There was no look of panic on his face. He was used to natural locations like this.
'I have to get a good vantage point. While I can afford to walk around shamelessly, my energy is not infinite. Hmmmm….let's see.'
Reve looked around.
His eyes stopped in the direction of the tallest tree in the vicinity.
A smile hung on his face, 'That spot will do.'
Before he could move any step forward, a harsh beam of energy shot through the forest.
If Reve hadn't reacted in time, he might have been caught up in the energy blast. Worst case scenario, one of his arms would have been chopped away.
'Now, who was so reckless that they did this?'
Reve directed his eyes at the origin of the energy blast.
There seemed to be nothing in sight but his special eyes could see far beyond the norms. About two kilometer away were a group of students fighting a gigantic snake.
