During the year 1770, Japan was on the brink of a Civil War. The country was equally split between two factions with the Chimera governing the bottom half territory and the top half secured by the Nue Faction.

The Chimera King is a brash, arrogant man who acts before thinking. He is purely motivated by his desires and greed. On the other hand, the Nue king is is meticulous as well as a methodical person in all aspects of his life. His retainers would describe him as stoic. His intelligence is greater than the average men, but the young king's excessive thinking causes him to be late in acting at times.

The current rulers were handed their position by their respective fathers in the year 1760. Their predecessors benefited greatly from an alliance with each other at that time, but the new Kings had other plans.

Both believed it was time for there to be only one ruler in Japan. It only took 10 years for the foolish kings to arrive at the point of no return which ushered in the era of the"Edo Civil War era," It was the shortest war in history, but accompanied with implications that could shake the very foundation of the entire World.
