"Who goes there" a man dressed in full silver plate armour bellows towards Yuuji
"Is this the town of Gnul" Yuuji calls back
"That it is what business do you have in the town"the man roars at the top of his lungs.
"I'm here to seek shelter".
"Well then welcome to Gnul young lass".
".....I'm…. Not a girl". Yuuji replies bashfully.
"Sure ya ain't lass" the man says with a kind smile hidden under his helmet.
"'So this is what a town in this world is like, even though it's the middle of the night, people are walking around like it's the early morning, the majority of the shops appear to still be open as well…. Wait I don't have money, so how do I pay for somewhere to stay..'".

"Lass how's a bout ya come home with us" a tall drunk man with blonde hair and green eyes hollers towards Yuuji after leaving a bar followed by two other men."I'm not a lass "Yuuji exclaims with bright red cheeks

A few feet away
A girl in a short black kimono,with long black hair, walks down the road and spots a group of men hassling what looks like a small girl
"Hey, you damn perverts!"the girl shouts.
She grabs a rock from the ground and tosses it with her full strength towards the closest of the three men.
The rock slams into the mans stomach, and he immediately falls to his knees and loses his lunch.

Yuuji POV
Yuuji hears a shout from behind and sees a grey streak pass by his side and lodge itself into the blonde man's stomach. "'What the hell was that!'" -Answer a stone - "'A stone! That looked like a laser!!?'".
" hey you come here"a soft, warm voice calls out gently to Yuuji from behind.
One of the men point to themselves. A grey streak once again flys past Yuuji, nailing the man in the fore head, the man falls backwards
"The one in strange clothes" the soft voice calls out again.
"'Strange clothes? Do they mean my pyjamas, now that I look my pyjamas are pretty different from what everyone here is wearing'"
"D…..Do you m…me...mea….."Yuuji stammers as he turns around.
"Yes I mean you" the soft voice says plainly.
When Yuuji sees the girl he's lest speechless at what he sees, a girl in a black short kimono with white stockings, long shoulder length black, hair, lightly tanned skin, pink eyes with a slit instead of a pupil, and a long silver horn growing out of her fore head.
"Come with me."the girl states clearly.
"O….okay"Yuuji stammers still stoned by the horn growing out of the girls forehead.
The girl grabs Yuuji's hand and rushes out of the town into a nearby forest.
" why are w..we running" Yuuji asks the girl.
The girl looks at Yuuji with a sly girn.
"They're part of the gang that runs that bar, if we stayed we would have died"she giggles.
"......." Yuuji stares at the girl with the blankest stare he can muster.

Several minutes later.
"Okay we should take a break here" the girl says nonchalantly, as soon as her words finish Yuuji collapses to the ground.
"How..huff..aren't you tired" Yuuji questions.
"That doesn't matter"
"Yes it does"
They continue the back and forth for several minutes.
