Elys observed the prince's expression as he stared intently at her outstretched arm. She was confused why he hadn't bitten her yet when she was fully aware he was already hungry.
What was that loud stomach growling for then? Surely it wasn't just for mere show. She swore she heard it correctly that his stomach practically was begging for blood in his system.
"Would you like a straw for that?" Elys teased.
"Funny," the prince replied, sarcasm oozing from just a single word.
After what felt like a very long awkward pause, Aleksander finally pushed Elys' hand away. The princess raised a brow in confusion. Did he just reject her?
"I thought you needed to feed?" Elys asked him. "You must drink blood or else you'd go wild again."
