Pride has taken over the Western Queen. She knew at the back of her head that as a human being with morals, she should have fully acknowledged the West's faults. Elys should not have brushed it off as something as casual as saying she did not care even if she knew.
But Queen Elysianne was full of pride.
She bit her lip and cast her eyes aside, her foolish self battling with her mind and heart. She knew she should have seen eye to eye with the Eastern adviser, but Elys' words did not coincide with the truth.
Or at least she twisted it to the point it did not sound like truth anymore.
Sir Noa's face turned blank. He was weighing his next options, knowing that anytime the Western King could read his mind and get ahead of him before his mouth could even utter a single word.
