The prince grabbed her wrists with one hand, and pinned them above her head just an inch away from the bedpost. Elys still wouldn't stop resisting him, and she even tried to reach for his arm with her mouth as she attempted to bite him.
The princess almost got to him, but Aleksander was able to dodge.
"I can easily kill you right now, if you so wish to go down that path with me. But I won't," he said, "I don't know what you did to me, but somehow, I just find myself slowly being invested in everything about you."
"Lies," Elys hissed at him.
