Waking up in the morning to the sun coming throw his window as the horizon was dyed red with the rising sun this was a sight for sore eyes as William sighed as he did not remember falling asleep and had no dreams to speak of.
With waking up so early no one had got up yet, sitting in bed he pondered on what to do today as he really only would have a few hours before his parents got up and he did not know how much time he would get to him self as they would no longer allow him to go off on his own for at least a few weeks.
Hopping out of his big enough bed he felt the hard floors that reflected the rising sun an summoned dark, as dark rose from his shadows it blocked the rising sun on the hard wood floors casting a shadow upon his vision he told shadow to keep an eye on his mother and if they woke up to alert him, he was not sure how far shadow could be away from him to still communicate but it would be a good place to start so he would not get caught out without knowing it.
Reminding shadow again he jumped out the window and started running towards the nearest forest, running with the wind billowing in his hair and swishing by his ears 'this is more peaceful then inside that house' he thought back to his child hood and only could remember dark and grey memories so he stopped that train of through.
It took him about five minutes to reach the forest, this was extremely fast as he was weaving in between houses and jumping fences and considering the forest was about four kilometres away it was almost faster then the world record for the one hundred meter dash this was all not important to him as he no longer felt human and thus stopped comparing himself to them.
He knew he would need to move quickly as he had to increase is body he just did not know how it would affect him but he decided it was worth the shot as he would probably be caught up in something he would not be able to control so he craved the power to escape it even though he was already powerful enough to punch throw solid walls and outrun any human he felt powerless in truth as he still was not quite as powerful as the wendigo.
"if I'm ever going to be strong I need to consume" he felt like saying eat but consume slipped out as his vision became darker as the sky lightened up he let go of his body and let his instincts take over, until he got to the forest it was only as he entered the the ghost gums that looked like high sentries watching down on him, judging him like lifeless ghosts that had seen the world be born and was disinterested in someone as small and insignificant as he was.
" I will get stronger, strong enough that no one can look down on me" he said throw gritted teeth that where clenched so tight that it sounded like cracks would form on them soon as they strained and grinded against each other.
He went to the forest to try new things and get something that could enhance his body more and maybe allow him to evolve again but he really just wanted to clear his head but it did not help so he berried himself in getting stronger so he could face anything in the future.
As Australia is filled with poisonous animals he knew that would be the first way he would evolve.
Even animals that looked small in Australia where dangerous extremely so as they had at least four out of the top ten most venomous animals in each category, the options was limitless depending on what the red and green stone would do but he was not sure he would come out the same or even remotely close to how he looked right now, shaking his head he made the decision that it did not matter even if he became a monster it would be acceptable to gain power.
Running throw the forest he discovered that by using the root as a grapple he could move quicker then he could on foot alone, slowly he moved deeper into the forest until he reaches a part rarely visited by any humans he decided to start his new path here.
Reaching down he grabbed a small but very venomous spider he was not sure what type it was but knew it was dangerous to hold, that's when it jumped at him trying to bite him, he was faster then it but only just as it was coming closer to his face he noticed brown ribs on its back as well as rings of dark brown on its many legs while the face was ugly as could be with its fangs being bared at him he would not have noticed it in the ground with how well camouflaged it was but his eyes had become so much better that he could see it clearly.
Taking a closer look he was not sure he knew what species it was but he had a rough idea as it had attacked him there was not to many spiders that would attack with just being picked up well not by jumping at the face so he assumed it was a spider he had heard of that would attack humans with little provocation the wolf spider, it would be a relief if it was such a spider as it was not to dangerous but would probably send him to the hospital if he got bite so it was lucky he dogged.
He flung his hand with the root attached like a lance springing it from the side of his body with the addition of the brown root the already brown spider looked like it had been impaled by it self and fell lip on the root that now went throw its whole body from underneath.
Dripping from the brown spider its red blood stained the root and ground it was his first time killing from when he had been young and accidently stepped on an animal but he only felt a little pain in his heart as it was already attacking him so what could he do right.
"I really don't want to eat this hairy thing but I have to eat it in its whole right like the subject, does that mean if I only eat a certain part it would only increase a specific part of my body, no that doesn't seem right as I only at the skull of the wendigo and didn't touch the antlers but still got little antlers or was the wendigo a special case, ahhh" he screamed as there was to many possibilities and he felt lost and hated it.
After calming himself he decided to try to he pulled off the legs and the joints that connected them and after staring at what he was about to eat he slowly put it in his mouth with closed eyes he just hoped it would not replace his arms as they where much more useful then a spiders legs.
