Chapter 68 - Calling!

"A Stall!!! ..." The Khaos entity couldn't help but curse out loud; to be sincere, he had shown him its forge with the expectation that he'd end up receiving the Maker foundry. This was never part of the deal it thought to itself.

It had been more than a week within the Khaos realm training with Kyn, and so far Kyn had only been capable of manifesting an inventory stall off the side; from afar, it looked like a walk-in closet. The character trait of the said domain was a universal stall capable of granting the user a greater arsenal unit.

Mot couldn't help but laugh out loud at Kyn's predicament, as his domain was totally useless in battle; unlike his, which gave him a strength buff, Kyn's had royally screwed him over. "I wonder what Gaia would think of you. Leave alone, Athena," He paused laughing, "The look on their faces would be priceless."

Kyn, on the hand, didn't seem the least bit worried, as on the description on his link, it read 'Grand Arsenal Domain'. As it turned out, in the Grand Arsenal domain, Kyn found himself surrounded by an antique shop filled with vintage weapons, all set in a medieval ambiance.

Within this unique setting, Kyn receives a powerful weapon buff that enhances his capabilities and equips them for his adventures. At its center, Ebony lay in an enclosed glass; ... unlike the weapons transcribed in the Book of Leaves, his domain's weapons were of poor quality. Take the example of the sword that lay off the side of the counter; its dexterity lay at a meager 1/8941th of the gun's power spec. 'Damn just how much of a cheat code was the firearm,' he couldn't bear to imagine its destructive output after the upgrade. The good thing was that the weapons within the arsenal could be upgraded through metalwork, hence the first skill he needed to learn. (blacksmithing)

To be sincere, he felt like he had his work cut out, so far, his to-do list consisted of:

- Finding the missing gears from the book of leaves

- Try not to get killed by Ra

- Train like a dog as he sleeps, as it's controlled by Khaos (NB: time flows different in Khaos' domain)

- Prevent Athena from dying

- Last but not least try not to f**k up his relationship with Gaia

Talking of Gaia, Kyn wondered what the girls were up to. Ever since the meeting, they all ran back to their rooms which was the complete opposite of what he was used to, as much as this gave him time to reflect on the weeks events. This definitely would not go well with his future self.

Meanwhile, the three goddesses, Flora, Jasmine, and Athena, were deep in conversation about how to take advantage of Kyn's resources. Their recent shopping spree had been nothing short of ridiculous, prompting Bertha to reprimand them for their extravagance. In the luxurious and opulent setting of their accommodations, the three goddesses were busy trying on the new clothes they had purchased.

Flora had chosen a stylish lavender Gucci jumpsuit paired with a stunning blue sapphire diamond necklace that accentuated her natural charms. Jasmine, on the other hand, had borrowed a baggy jumper from Kyn's wardrobe, creating a playful and comfortable look. Athena, in a pink translucent nightgown, exuded an air of high fashion and elegance.

The trio's high fashion choices, elaborate attire, and lavish surroundings painted a picture of luxury and indulgence as they reveled in their newfound acquisitions and contemplated how to further leverage Kyn's generosity.

In a scene reminiscent of the Baroque era, Flora stood before a grand mirror, her gaze fixed upon her reflection as she meticulously inspected the exquisite Gucci jumpsuit she wore. The jumpsuit's lavender fabric clung to her graceful form, and its rich color radiated an air of opulence and beauty. Her fingers traced the delicate patterns and stitching, reveling in the intricate details that adorned her attire.

Meanwhile, Jasmine and Athena, sitting in a lavishly decorated room, were engrossed in a conversation about their newfound common interest: Kyn. The room's ornate furnishings and dramatic lighting set the stage for their discussion, casting an air of elegance and intrigue over their interaction.

The entire scene was like a glimpse into a mythical world, with each element carefully crafted to enhance the grandeur and beauty of the moment.

'Why don't you just join us?' Jasmine's question hung in the air, leaving Athena in a state of apprehension and inner turmoil. Her thoughts were in disarray, and her emotions danced on the precipice of uncertainty. The memory of that stolen kiss from Kyn had ignited a spark within her, a spark that had left her soul yearning for more.

Athena couldn't help but wonder about the enigmatic Gaia's motivations. Why would Gaia, a powerful and timeless deity, be willing to share her connection with Kyn? The complexity of her feelings, the curiosity that gnawed at her, and the magnetic pull that drew her closer to Kyn were all a part of the tumultuous whirlwind of emotions that Athena found herself in.

The prospect of joining Kyn and Jasmine added a layer of intrigue and mystery to Athena's inner world. The desire to explore this new dynamic warred with her initial apprehension, creating a sense of wonder and uncertainty that would shape the course of her journey in unforeseen ways.

Athena, after a moment of contemplation, turned to Jasmine and spoke with a sense of determination, "I won't lose out to you." Her words were laced with a mix of confidence and a hint of playfulness, revealing her readiness to embrace the unfolding dynamics.

Just as Athena finished her statement, Flora chimed in, her tone equally spirited, "So won't I, from all our Counts." The 3 goddesses expressed their intent not to be outdone, setting the stage for an intriguing and captivating chapter to come. Time went by slowly with the three of them trying out new outfits then came the stakes.

The tension in the room gave way to a moment of lighthearted competition as Athena, Jasmine, and Flora engaged in a spirited game of rock, paper, scissors. The stakes were high: the winner would have the privilege of spending the rest of the night with Kyn.

Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as they counted off their moves—rock, paper, scissors! Each round brought moments of suspense and playful rivalry. As the game unfolded, it was clear that Jasmine was on a winning streak. Round after round, she emerged victorious, leaving her competitors in awe of her seemingly unbeatable strategy.

With a triumphant smile, Jasmine celebrated her landslide victory, securing the opportunity to be with Kyn for the night.

Jasmine moved with a quiet grace as she slowly opened Kyn's door. The room was dimly lit, and Kyn lay peacefully asleep, undisturbed by the vixen making her way towards him. As she approached his slumbering form, a mischievous smile played on her lips, and she couldn't help but wonder what dreams danced in his mind.

(Our guy was training... Ooooof!!! ... and our little lamb had brought herself for reaping.)

With careful and deliberate movements, she closed the distance between them, her presence unnoticed by the deep sleeper. Jasmine contemplated the night ahead, filled with curiosity and a sense of want, as she stood beside the peacefully sleeping Kyn. Slowly, she took off the hoody, the only peace of gear she had on.
