As Flora observed the besotted look on Kyn's face as he appeared to be enchanted by Athena, she found that she was unable to withstand the wave of envy that was rising up inside of her. She made a point of walking up to Jasmine and standing by her double as a show of solidarity, thereby presenting a united front against Athena's seductiveness. Together, they came to the conclusion that they needed to take matters into their own hands and called Kyn's attention to themselves in the hopes of diverting his attention.
Kyn, who had become engrossed in his thoughts and had almost completely lost track of his responsibility to exact revenge, was taken aback when he was abruptly asked for his attention. It took him a moment to process what he was seeing before he shifted his attention to Jasmine and Flora, who were both now standing together. The three women's drama put together made it impossible to ignore their presence.
In the meantime, Athena's face had become completely red, which was a striking contrast to the self-assured demeanour that she had initially been exuding. She had worn the outfit to make a statement, and she had no intention of being upstaged by the two stunning Gaia women. Nonetheless, she became aware of the circumstances surrounding her predicament, and she saw that she may have exaggerated the severity of the situation,on being teased.
Since their arrival the day before, the two Gaias had been cruelly tormenting Athena about Kyn. The amusing twist in the situation was that the two Gaias had been mocking Athena about Kyn. Now that the tables were turned, it seemed as though Athena had unwittingly trapped herself in a humorous but awkward love triangle, much to the amusement of the onlookers who were watching the scene unfold.
Chris, who had finally worked up the courage to rejoin the group, could not help but wish that he was the one who was the subject of the humorous competition between Athena, Jasmine, and Flora for Kyn's attention. Chris masked his jealousy with a sly smile and then made the decision to tease Kyn about the seeming good fortune he was experiencing.
Bertha interjected with a solemn expression on her face before Kyn had a chance to respond to Chris's playful mocking. She brought to Chris's attention the fact that he still owed her money, and that up until the point that he repaid her, he had no right to make fun of other people.
Chris, who was beginning to feel somewhat trapped in the situation, played the "Did you see me win the bet?" card in an effort to lighten the mood. Mot, who had been intent on his food the entire time, appeared unconcerned by the unfolding drama and continued eating in blissful calm. 'Further more it's not as if I stole any thing from what you had already won,' he mumbled to himself.
For the first time in all his years, Kyn could not help but feel grateful for the relative peace that had just emerged in his life as he watched the hilarious show that was taking on all around him. It had only been less than a month and he had already felt a sense of belonging with the bunch.
"I think I can live life like this," he muttered to himself, "To new beginnings."
As time went on and the trio settled down to their seats around Kyn's table while the rest Bertha, Chris and the henchmen proceeded out into the city. Bertha had one thing in mind and that was to win back her money back while Chris on the other hand tagged along to avoid being a third wheel.
Kyn, while eating, was forced to make a pledge to Jasmine and Flora in the hopes of easing the tension between the two Gaias and finding a way out of the precarious predicament on the entities jealousy. He promised them that they would have some time to themselves later on in the evening, but he emphasised that he first needed to thank Athena for hosting them given the fact they stayed over and he technically had finished his mission. He was grateful for the opportunity to see a day he'd live a normal ish life and thanks to his diplomatic technique the two Gaia beauties were pacified.
Athena while thinking to herself felt it, 'Last time I was around him he didn't smell like this. Hmph! and Gaia seems to half taken him to herself but then again I wouldn't mind sharing.'
After detecting the distinctive aroma of ether that emanated from Kyn, Athena made the decision to take the opportunity and have him to herself. She volunteered to play the part of Kyn's host and invited him out for a stroll after his meal, claiming that they needed to "business talk." With a voice that was dripping with alluring overtones, and her divine looks it was difficult to say no to her. Bro had to simp <[o.o]>
The two Gaias, despite their best attempts, were unable to keep from interjecting themselves into the discussion. On the other hand, as soon as Athena caught a whiff of the familiar odour that Kyn exuded, her resolve solidified in Kyn's direction. Promising to join them later Kyn excused himself together with Athena.
As Kyn and Athena walked into the garden, they found themselves surrounded by the serene beauty of nature. Athena, taking a moment to appreciate the surroundings, turned to Kyn and asked him a heartfelt question, "Do you remember me?"
Before Kyn could respond, Athena, her voice filled with emotion, gently hugged him from behind, her arms wrapped around his waist. She leaned her head against his shoulder, seeking the comfort of his presence.
With a hint of playfulness in her voice, she continued, "I was the first one to approach you. Why Gaia and not me?" Athena's words carried a sense of longing and a touch of curiosity as she looked for an answer to the question that had been on her mind for some time. And just as he was about to turn her down, her lips were on his he couldn't escape from it.
