~Jin-Ae's POV~
It was overwhelming watching him, walk away and no one knew for how long, standing by the end I was waving at him, carrying a sad smile over and soon his self disappeared in the crowd, which seemed as if I have lost him forever, being away for long was never in my imagination. But our fate bought us separation, misery and suffering that no one have ever imagined. Sung-Ho, carrying the burden of losing his parents, his house wasn't working for him either, and that was the reason I didn't ask him for something, I could understand how alone he would be feeling right now, however, I conserved the promise with myself that I wouldn't ever let him experiences the loneliness even the distance between us speaks louder, this was what I would do for him.
After that, I climbed inside the car, getting to start the engine, not letting the thoughts, emotions of separation bother me anymore considering that we were back to be together and no matter what I wouldn't leave him, he was the most precious thing I ever experienced, and no one would ever want to lose that precious part of their heart.
Shrugging that thought, I drove towards the direction of the house, escaping the painful moan.
* * *
"How's he?" pouring the water, the voice of Ari uttered from behind as the sound of her foot appeared closer to me.
Swallowing the water, I swivelled to connect the sights with her, considering that she was the one to ask about him, weakly I smiled.
"He left for the US again," I said, not letting this action of him appear as a curse for me.
"Why?"
"He has company to look after and there was something that needed his help so,"
"Oh-okay, by the way how he is?"
I became silent, at the mention of his consciousness, and tried to experience the emotions, the sadness he would be struggling with but being not with him bothered me a lot.
"Jin-Ae, speak?" she demanded as her face wrinkled with the threads of worry, she encountered with the looks of mine.
"He lost his parents last week," whispered while holding back the tears for good.
"How?"
"Accident!" I uttered
"My condolences," she whispered softly.
"Thanks," I uttered.
I cleared the throat as the emptiness in the space, gathered my attention, knitting the brows I peeped at her.
"Where are all others?"
"Oh!" with the utterances of her, it came off she realised only when I raised the question about.
"Ji-Hoon, as usual in the company while Dad had some kinda work in Italy, so might be he would be back in a couple of days,"
For some strange reason, my senses took me to the visual of mom, might be they would be together, just another meeting, I thought as a good and headed upstairs while handing the snacks in hand and waiting for the text of him, soon unlocked the door and walked towards the way to shower.
~Daniele's POV~
There could be nothing, but the weakness of Marco handed to him, might be something that could be of some help in the future.
"Vittorio has come to sense, boss," Kaden voiced while thumping on the door of the office, this was indeed the best news I got to know today otherwise that asshole came out with no help considering that he was the one to get me known about the weakest point of them, those Russians.
I dropped the file and hurried towards the room him, while Kaden walked behind.
"What about Enzo?"
"He is still under treatment,"
"I don't want any mistakes with the hospitality, do the best for him," I commanded while he nodded while bowing low in front of him.
Knock! knock!
"It's unlocked!" a voice came from inside, and I did enter the room. The view of him, resting against the headboard wrapped with the wires, that was for some reason annoyed me because I would never wish to see any of my loved ones in a condition like today.
"He woke up, brother!" there was the voice of an angel, seated at the edge of the bed, holding the hand of her brother tightly.
I nodded and walked over to him.
"Is there something to worry about?"
"No, he is all fine!"
"Alright!"
I stroked his arms politely while signalling Victoria to get away from there as I had to discuss the night in the club.
She nodded and left with Kaden and the staff of nursing.
"Are you in pain?"
"I'm fine now, nothing to worry about by the way how about Enzo?"
"He hasn't regained his sense, might be he would take time!"
"Hm," he hummed and soon I was seated on the chair nearer to him.
"Were they Russian?"
He sighed before speaking and averted the gaze from me to the ground as if he regretted the happening.
"I don't know about that and we can't point at them always as we have enemies over the world," he let out the fact, that the whole held grudges with me, so I couldn't trust anybody except my men, and family.
"But Russian was caught in Milan,"
"But brother, Luca isn't sounding good to me, considering his friendship with Marco in the past, and what if he is playing around?"
"He can't do that because he was attacked at night too by Russian,"
"For sure, it's them," I added.
"Did you catch so-"
"I can't say that but you don't have to worry, take a rest okay? I will have it,"
And then I walked away from his room, asking guards to look after him for good.
While heading towards the office, the words of Vittorio didn't put me in peace, as he talked right, Luca had good relations with Marco in the past, but something that made me sure about him was that he couldn't betray Dad and if he did by chance then it would be worst for him.
I sighed and seated on the chair and again got busy with the piles of paper.
"Hello? Mark?"
"Yes, Boss,"
"Look after Luca's moves and tell me instantly if he does something questionable,"
"Noted!" he uttered and hung up on the call while I got energetic with the pending work of the club.
~Sung-Ho's POV~
Arriving at the company, I headed towards the office because nothing was concerning me than about the issue Jake talked about.
I walked over towards Jake, "What's the issue?"
"Oh, you are back sir,"
"Come to the cabin," I asked him and got seated on the chair, while Jake forwarded me the files, that needed my guidance.
"Mr Albert terminated the contract for an unknown reason, " he whispered.
"Set a meeting with him, tonight!" I said and saw him walking away from the space, leaving me with the fighting thoughts.
"JAKE?" I yelled
"Yes sir!"
"Call Justin and coffee too," I yelled out
"Yes!" he too.
And after pausing for minutes, Justin came while handing me the mug of coffee.
"I didn't expect you to return just within one day?" he raised the question while trying to eye my expression that said nothing but coldness.
I took a sip of coffee and relaxed my mind from the thoughts running away continuously.
"Mom and Dad died," I said with no emotions in my tone.
"What are you talking about?"
"They had an accident last week," I uttered and then connected eyes with him, while his expression seemed to be shocking.
"Let everything in the past, my condolences!" he whispered and came to my side for a brother hug.
"It will be alright, time passes," I was holding back my tears, this was the first time I ever felt lonely, alone like I had no one in life.
I sighed and thought of continuing with the business with Justin.
"What about Albert?"
"Oh, he? I don't know what got into him, I must say that he would regret it soon," he said, who might be trying to comfort me in his language.
"Just one day and this happened -"
"But I guess Jake forgot to tell you something interesting," he uttered and my brows joined with the confusion in his words.
"What are you talking about?"
"You are nominated for American Business Stevie Awards, man," the moment he let out those words, I became totally surprised.
"Seriously?"
"Yes, and I am sure you would be the one to win," he comforted again.
"That's great!" I said and twitched my lips upwards with the happiness.
"Yes!"
After when Justin left the office, I grabbed my phone to drop this good news as a text to Jin-Ae.
*Hey, I am nominated for American Business Stevie Awards* and then waited for her reply and within a matter of seconds, her feedback dropped in my ears as in the notification sound.
"I'm happy for you, would love to see you receiving the awards, love you!" her words worked as medicine for my illness and I grinned whole-heartedly.
