~Sung-Ho's POV~
I was on my way home once I accomplished at the airport, for some reason my heart was pounding hard unexpectedly however ignoring that bad experience was the only thing I was left with, I grabbed the car and directed the driver to follow the given address, I didn't inform parents that I would be appearing here in South Korea this week, considering to give them amazement.
I sighed and lounged my head on the backseat while closing my eyes as the drive would at least take an hour to reach, so relaxing sounded better after the flight of approximately 8-10 hours.
"Here sir!" the driver whispered, making me come into the world, I nodded and climbed out of the vehicle while following the path to the front door with luggage in one hand, I grinned, thinking that mother would be beyond happy to behold me here, struggling to hide the smile, I knocked on the door, but none appeared to welcome, thought of knocking for the second time, and paused for someone to greet but then too nobody showed which heightened my nervousness.
Loosen the tie, I grabbed my phone to dial her contact. In addition, brought it near to my ear.
After the day when I walked for some time with Justin, neither I preferred to give any call not I received from them.
Pausing for someone to pick the call, every passing moment was testing my patience however call ended when no one picked it up. Then only one person appeared to my senses was Aunt, so hurriedly I dialled her number and waited for the ring to meet an end, and that's when it did, she picked.
"Hello?" I asked in a worried tone.
"Is mom there with you?" I added.
All I encountered from her side was silence for a few moments, and that's after her broken voice fell into the ears.
"They aren't here-" before I let her put full stop I spoke.
"Then you know where are they?"
"Son, they left us," her feedback occurred to make no sense as facing something negative was not appearing to my reality.
"What do you mean?" I also let out in a hesitant tone, trying to fade away from the negative thoughts coming out from her words.
"They had an accident couple of days before-"
"Don't fucking say that Aunt," I couldn't believe her wording as it was impossible to imagine.
"I'm saying the truth," she mumbled with pain, but I wasn't ready to believe that.
"She didn't want you to know as she kept one promise to me-"
"AND NOW WHAT IS THE NEED TO SAY THIS, YOUR PROMISE? SERIOUSLY?" I shouted because I couldn't imagine that they had left me alone here as well as everyone.
Some sheds escaped from eyes, biting bottom lips I controlled the sobs to escape.
I internally moaned when I courage to utter against my shaking body.
"When did this happen?" I asked
"They were thinking of surprising you in the US and then it happened before they could even reach the airport for take-off."
"What the heck!" I painfully mumbled against trembling lips.
"Son-" I cut the call and fell on the ground as if the soul left my body, sheds were continuously falling from sights, as even wiping them off seemed tough for me.
Regrettably, everything happened otherwise after going to States, painfully everything left me, my parents of whom I couldn't even see for the last time, licking lips I watched the garden where the mother used to water the plants, where I spent my childhood, playing with dad, however, time made me admit guilt everything.
"WHAT THE HELL!" I yelled looking up at the sky, just in a few days, everything left me alone.
I wiped off the tears, and walked inside the house, as I grabbed the key that's was lying beneath the carpet at the door, this was a place where mom hides the other keys if someone among us forgot to take keys, I pushed the covering and saw the key, I picked and unlocked the front door.
I walked inside and watched how perfectly she managed to keep the house clean by herself, walking step by step I made it to the living room where remained cheerful memories with them.
Stepping near the table, I looked at that showpiece which father bought whenever he returned from the job, I weakly smiled and walked further when something caught my attention. Sauntered towards the backyard where there were roses left lifeless as if hadn't had water for ages.
Appearing near to them, I touched them with care, preventing them from falling.
I remembered there used to be a maid, so walking inside, I dialled her contact and soon she picked it up.
"Who?" she questioned
"Sung-Ho," I answered.
"Oh, sir?" she sounded polite.
I knew what happened to my parents, so I didn't want to know something that would make me hate myself more knowing that if I hadn't left Korea, this day wouldn't have appeared. So, backing off with the thoughts I asked her about those hundreds of roses, guessing she didn't take care of them.
"What's wrong with roses?" I asked and paused for her to continue.
"Oh, sir. I didn't look after them there used to be some girl, used to come here every week, caring for them but I didn't know what occurred that from last three years she didn't appear to come here," she explained whereas I grew confused with joined eyebrows.
"Which girl?"
"I couldn't remember her n-a-m-e, umm-" she seemed to remember the name but I guess couldn't, as well as no-name appeared to me too.
"Yes, I remembered," she said cheerfully.
"What?"
"She used to spend a lot of time with mam whenever she visited here, ah yeah, it was Jin-Ae,"
"Sung-Ho?"

~Jin-Ae's POV~
Wandering around with Ari in the mall, I felt exhausted as she took me with her accompany when she told me about how brother made it up for her after the incident at the birthday party, he cleared that it was just an incident and he told everything with the addition of confession.
So, from the last, I was happily watching them all lovey-dovey from the last week.
Actually, today she had no work, therefore, she thought of going shopping whereas I wandered everywhere without buying anything considering that I already had a lot of stuff that was left untouched by me.
So, she was the one to shop.
She went into the changing room when my phone buzzed inside the purse, I took it outside and peeped at the screen when Bae's name popped on the screen.
I accepted the call and greeted her with a happy tone.
"Hey?"
"Jin-Ae, Sung-Ho is crying," she was straight to the point where I felt shaken by her utterances.
But letting her know about the past, I pretended to dissemble cool.
"What do you mean by that?"
"He is speaking with someone on phone, I don't know the reason but please you come to him, he seems heartbroken, " she said and for some reason, I felt hurt, listening to them he was sad.
"Alright!" I said and hung up the call.
"Watch this out, Jin-Ae?" I heard Ari coming out from the room with the dress on but her appearance didn't work out for me as my attention wandered around the reason that made him like that.
"Jin-Ae?" she muttered again and I made eye contact with her.
"Ari, I have to go,"
"Where?"
"To Sung-Ho, he is here and something happened to him," I explained the reason because I didn't want her to feel hurt leaving her alone.
"Alright, go,"
"Give a call to brother, to pick you up, I am taking your car," I said in hurry and watched her giving me a head nod.
I left the place and climbed inside the car, hurriedly dialling the contact of their maid, because one day I saved her contact for no important reason.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Jin-Ae," she spoke
"Did something bad happen to Sung-Ho?" I was sure she could notice the tone.
I heard her sigh before she let out the reason that made him sad.
"Tell me?"
"He lost his parents days ago," I ended in one sentence whereas my whole turned upside down. I moaned, trying to sense the emotion he would be messing around.
"Alright!" I hung up the call and remembered the time when his mother treated me with love, his dad appeared to be so loving towards his family members as she told me about the family.
Indeed, she had the best son and best husband considering her words.
However, Sung-Ho was all I was thinking about now, how he would be feeling, might be so alone, might be broken.
Sensing his state, I drove faster to the address without giving the past, a second thought. I have forgiven him because I couldn't make it alone remembering that it was just the mistake, Min and Justin helped me to get over the past and accept the truth that he didn't do that out of intention but he was drunk last night, so now I had no complaints with him.
After 20 minutes, I parked the car outside the front door and hurriedly walked towards the same with fast steps.
The door was unlocked, proving that he was inside, I walked inside and tried to watch after his presence, but neither in the front view nor somewhere around the kitchen. So, I thought of visiting the living room.
And there his presence appeared into my sight, conserving on the phone.
I grumbled before facing him and walking closer to his figure.
"Sung-Ho?" I softly mumbled, waiting for him to turn over to face him and so he did after letting my voice drop in his ears.
We were standing at the ends of the sofa, but I could feel his red eyes, his messy state and knowing the reason, I weakly smiled at him.
Without paying attention to his cold expression, I ran towards him and embraced him in a tight hug, wrapping a hug around his neck, I pecked the side of his neck, and caressed the back of his neck, realising the state he was in.
* * *
I couldn't feel anything at the moment because feeling it for real seemed difficult to me, watching her running towards me, seemed imaginary to me. Not being able to control sheds anymore I cried out when she wrapped her hands around my figure, for a moment I silently cried but when felt broken I wrapped hands around her waist and cried my heart out, having her by my side.
Pretty sure she could hear the sobs, but nothing could make me stop, because it was tough to hold on my self but when she appeared to be my side, I broke down badly.
"Don't worry," she whispered against my ears, and when I hide the face in the crook of her neck, crying out loud.
Feeling her touch, seemed unrealistic to me which melted the coldness inside the heart.
After minutes, she pulled away and wiped off the sheds with her hands, wanting me to face her, with her fingering me at my chin.
She cupped my face and caressed it gently before showing me her smiling face.
I returned the smile but there was sadness hidden, which she understood and again she hugged by the chest.
"They would be happy to see you standing on the top of the world," her comforting seemed relaxing because for some time I felt that it world has bought me the end but I was wrong when she whispered my name from behind.
She pulled away and walked towards the sofa, holding hands with mine.
"Sit down," he said and I did while facing the ground considering the past happening.
Watching her figure, disappear in the kitchen, I moaned with closed eyes as thought that she would have come here just because she might have felt upset for me, realising how she left me back then. And now it would have happened in the same way but I was prepared to see her walk away this time.
"Have water," she mumbled and gave me the glass of water while grabbing the space beside me.
I gulped down the water and kept it on the table, for the time there was silence until her hands around wrapped in mine, caressing it.
I looked towards her, tilting my head.
She grinned.
"Why you come?" I asked her coldly and I knew she would be hurt by the tone but didn't care much.
"Do I need a reason to come to you!" she spoke.
And then I averted the gaze as I couldn't hold it knowing that she would treat me the same way.
"Aren't you happy to see me here?" she questioned which made me think twice before coming up with something like the answer.
"I don't know what to say," and seriously I didn't know exactly what to appear with as an answer.
"No issues because I know you are happy," she whispered and pecked my cheek, facing her. I blinked but didn't utter any word as her presence genuinely made me happy so I had no point in opposing that.
"Look at me?"
