"Is Sun-Hee in the office?" Ji-Hoon asked his secretary, after catching up with work. Ever in ages, he desired to know about her whereabouts but today he felt something different inside his heart and he tried to figure out it but the more he thought about her, the more he encouraged himself not to know or worry about his mate.
Two years passed to the day when Sun-Hee became his wife, she wasn't ready for this marriage but the situation was the same for her, her father was tied with the threads of loans under the Organisation of SEO, so just to release her father from further more difficulties she got to agree to this marriage.
From the first day, Ji-Hoon acted cold towards her, he never tried to understand her struggles, problems. Sun-Hee felt alone in the big mansion, no one was there to wipe her tears neither someone who loved her, ever thought about her, tried to understand her, listen to her for once. Whenever she tried to spend some time when she felt alone, she always chose to go to the orphanage house and play with kids, which helped her to release the stress, tension easily.
The same was with today, after finishing up her work she straight went to the Orphanage House, where she grew up and spent her childhood thereafter at the age of 15.
Alright, her parents left her there, they didn't wish to do that but the pressure of loans and threats were depressing for them, not wanting her to grow up in that kind of environment. And she ended up in that orphanage house.
Sun-Hee became close to the owner of the house and after completing her studies she went to her home after years.
However, the reason was still hanging out in the mid, the loans were not fulfilled, everything was like the same before she left, of course, she worked hard to help her parents to get off all those bearings and that's how she ended up in a cold relationship with Ji-Hoon. The amount was high, Sun-Hee paid off the loans but still, some were left to pay. So, Jae asked her to marry Ji-Hoon and release her father from this problem.
"Sir, she left before 30 minutes of your arrival," His secretary informed him, Ji-Hoon started to worry about her as it was for the first time when she left him without any message.
"Where?"
"I can't say about that, sorry sir."
"What is wrong with her?"
"Alright, continue your work and if you see her around then let me know."
"Sure."
After that, he got busy with his work, forgetting about her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I don't know what is happening with me? I'm tired with my life," Sun-Hee cried out her heart in front of her aunt(Owner).
It was the first time when she cried in front of anyone otherwise an empty room was enough to hear her cries.
"What happened?"
Shifting into her arms, she closed her eyes and softened for a moment.
"Why can't I have someone who asks me about my worries? Why all treat me like I did something wrong with them," little sobs were heard from her mouth, as she broke down at this moment when she felt unloved by everyone.
"It's not like that, child, everyone loves you but sometimes people might not be able to express that love. I love you and all the children love you so much and because of some person why do you feel that way," her aunt spoke some words which might calm her down, pulling herself, she looked at her.
"I know that but I'm sick with getting a cold shoulder from the one whom I love, no matter how much I did for him, he always ignored my presence, never glanced at me with love and care."
The whole time she talked with her and played with kids to get over her emotions but she forgot to notice the sun setting down.
It was getting dark and to her sense, she seemed to blur that moment and have a quality time with kids.
*************
Looking at his wrist, he noticed the time, showing up at 6:00 pm.
Letting out a relaxing sigh, he stretched his arms until he attended to a knock on his door.
"Come in,"
His Secretary showed up in his sight, "Here are some files for you to approve," he finished his sayings and bowed towards him.
"Alright. Listen?"
"Yes, Sir?"
"Is she back?"
"No, sir," he uttered those negative words and it sadden the expression on Ji-Hoon's face.
"You can go," he instructed him to leave his room.
"Where is she? She should have told me."
Staring at the phone, he thought of texting her and get to know about her presence but before he picks his phone, he got a call from her. His face lights up at the sight of him getting a call from her.
"Hello?"
"Hey."
"That's not her voice and who is she?" he thought to himself because it was someone else speaking from another side but disturbed by her words.
"I know that you aren't aware of my identity but more than this there is one important thing I want to discuss with you. I'm Sun-Hee's Aunt."
Ji-Hoon grew impatient at the mention of his wife's name and attended her speech carefully.
"What is it?"
"Can you come here to pick her up at the house?"
"Is something wrong with her? Is she hurt? Tell me the address I'm coming right now," a worried tone was noticed by her aunt in his words.
"She is wrong that no one cares for her," she affirmed this phrase inside her head and smiled before answering him.
"She is alright but she is here without any transport and picking up any cab at night is a bit of a scary for me so?"
"Alright, I'm coming," he whispered and asked the address to reach there.
After passing one hour, he reached the given address.
"Why is she here?"
"Hello, my son. I appreciate your concern for her. She is inside, lemme call her," as she turned to call her out, he gripped her wrist.
"Aunt, can you tell me the reason why she came here?"
"Let's take a walk for some time," she suggested and directed him to take steps in the front directions. Pausing for her words, he smiled to spend time walking around.
"I know you care for her but I can't call it love, maybe the responsibility of you but lemme tell you for the first time she cried in front of me. I'm sure that you would have also failed to see her like that," letting out a bitter truth in front of him, she spoke for her.
Out of words, Ji-Hoon stayed silent and paid all his attention to her words. His heart ached to know that he failed as a good person for his wife even before she was his wife, she was the person who needed love but he ignored her needs.
"Now you would be blaming yourself for treating her in that way, always cold but you don't know what she has been through before you met her. I won't ask for much as an aunt but as her husband try to understand her emotions and try to spend time with her," putting a full stop to her words, she patted his shoulder as if a mother did to her child.
"Thank you," no more words, he just ended the conservation.
"I guess I should go?"
"Yeah,"
Reaching for his car, he saw a young boy standing before his car and ran towards her after seeing her.
"What happened?"
"Why you didn't ask Sister to stay longer with us?"
"Where is she?" she asked after attending to his words, but Ji-Hoon didn't show any expression because he didn't know who he was addressing as a sister.
"But Why she left before meeting me?"
"What are talking about?" Ji-Hoon asked.
"Sir, our sister left in a cab but we wanted to stay with her for a longer time," that little replied to him after hearing his questions.
"Sun-Hee?"
"Yes,"
"You go and have your dinner," the aunt told that young boy to go inside the house.
"I didn't guess that this would happen," she felt guilty for inviting him without informing Sun-Hee about it.
"Don't worry, it's not your fault. I should go. Meet you for the next time," Ji-Hoon said and climbed inside the car.
"Drive safe," she said and waved at him.
