That morning Emma was shopping at the market for the Duncans' daily necessities. Coincidentally she go with a taxi and would come back to Duncan's house in a taxi too. Meanwhile, her husband, Pedro already drove his boss to the office, and her misstress, Queenerra and Aunt Clara had already gone to the tavern. Since there is Aunt Clara at the traven today, Emma feels a little calm even though she has to shop for daily needs and not accompany Queenerra.
After finishing shopping with quite a lot of luggage, Emma walked towards the waiting area for a taxi, until accidentally a car stopped beside where she was standing and the window came down. "Emma..." The woman from inside the car greeted her.
Instantly Emma became awkward, "Mrs. Angelique." She answered nervously. But she remembered the conversation she had with Pedro last night, that if Angelique came to see her, Emma would have to act as reasonable as possible, so not to make Angelique feel suspicious.
