Chapter 26 - Kind Lorne

Watching the mysterious man leave, the Sunset Gorilla waved at them.

It seemed to be bidding farewell to Lorne and the others but it was actually thinking to itself, "This demon king has finally left. It was too scary."

At the thought of Lorne, they felt that the scars on their bodies were becoming painful.

Thinking of how Lorne had whipped them, they trembled in fear.

Lorne left with them after he finished tidying up.

Durkelon asked curiously, "Great Wizard Lorne, are you just going to let these three Sunset Gorillas go?"

The Sunset Gorilla was a Level Six magical beast. If he killed it and brought it back, he could exchange it for quite the sum of money.

If Lorne hadn't obtained the golden ring, he might have done so. However, after obtaining the golden ring,

Lorne did not think so. After all, he had enough money now.

Furthermore, without their guidance, Lorne really wouldn't have known about these things.

It seemed that the next time they went to the lair of magical beasts, they would have to search through their homes.

Otherwise, if he lost something good, he wouldn't even know what it was. If he gave it to someone else, wouldn't he lose money?

"That's right. I've already earned enough today. There's no need to kill for money," Lorne said calmly.

Blumer nodded in satisfaction. It was rare to see children of such high quality.

Not wantonly killing for money, not as greedy as others.

Seeing this scene, Durkelon cursed inwardly. The Sunset Gorilla was very valuable.

Lorne let it go just like that but he didn't dare to say anything.

Otherwise, he was afraid that Lorne would attack him. When the time came, they would bring his corpse back to Sunset City.

In his heart, Lorne was such a person.

After all, he had dismembered the magical beast the first time he saw Lorne. To him, this was something only a vulgar person would do.

"They bullied Irvine. We should kill them."

After thinking for a while, in order to smear Lorne's name in Irvine's mind, he said this.

Irvine was a little unhappy to hear this. Why was Durkleon like this?

She still wanted to build a good relationship with Lorne. She was going to become his wife in the future.

Now was the time to show her ability to the outside world.

"If you can't talk, Durkleon, then don't. Brother Lorne did the right thing. Did the Sunset Gorilla hurt me?"

Irvine glared at Durkelon angrily. This person in front of her wanted to ruin her intimate relationship with Lorne.

She had to be on Lorne's side unconditionally. That was the only way to avoid Lorne hating her.

As she spoke, Irvine stepped forward and hugged Lorne's arm, constantly shaking it.

"Brother Lorne is so kind. I like kind boys the most," said Irvine coquettishly.

She didn't care about her father at all. Blumer was watching them as well.

Blumer didn't say anything. After all, he wanted the two of them to become husband and wife.

What he saw in Durkelon's eyes was different. He felt targeted.

When he had tried his best to please Irvine, he had always interfered.

Now that there was a country bumpkin magician, Blumer treated him as his son-in-law and didn't even care about Durkelon.

At the thought of this, Durkelon was especially angry but he could only endure it.

Along the way, Irvine and Lorne talked and laughed. After all, Lorne was very funny.

And she knew about some love stories.

Irvine laughed enough to turn especially red. She hit Lorne's body and said, "Annoying!"

Seeing Irvine like this, Blumer felt that this was a bit too much.

Most importantly, what she had just said had indeed given everyone goosebumps.

Irvine apparently realized her mistake too. She stuck out her tongue in embarrassment and stopped talking.

For a moment, the air was quiet and everyone felt a little awkward.

"Ahem, Lorne, where are you planning to go after you arrive at Sunset City?"

To Blumer, dealing with this sort of matter was extremely easy.

But to his surprise, Lorne didn't reply. They looked curiously at him to see what he was doing.

Lorne realized what was going on.

"Sorry, I was thinking about something and got distracted."

Lorne said in embarrassment. Irvine, who was beside him, was unhappy to hear this.

"Brother Lorne, I'm beside you. How can you be distracted?"

Irvine said unhappily to Lorne with a pink face.

"Sorry, I was thinking about something just now, so I didn't hear what you guys said."

Lorne said as he stroked Irvine's head.

Lorne, who was nearly 1.9 meters tall, was very close to the 1.7 meters tall Irvine.

The two of them stared at each other and Irvine thought Lorne was going to kiss her, so she closed her eyes.

After waiting for a long time, Lorne did not come into contact with it.

"Irvine, we have to return to Sunset City soon."

Blumer and the others had walked quite a distance away. Seeing that Irvine hadn't caught up with them, he called out to her.

Hearing her father call her, Irvine ran over and said to Lorne with a red face,

"Brother Lorne is such an idiot!"

With that said, she ran forward and ignored Lorne. Lorne scratched his head in embarrassment.

After walking for about two hours, they arrived at a main road.

At this moment, Blumer spoke out. "Let's follow this path. Soon, we'll reach Sunset City."

His words were mainly for Lorne to hear. After all, he had brought him so far.

These words gave Lorne a sense of assurance. He couldn't let Lorne follow them back without knowing anything.

The four of them walked along the main road. Occasionally, carriages ran out of the city.

It was either the coachman greeting Blumer or the carriage driver greeting Blumer.

It was as if many people recognized them. There were also some descendants of nobility who wore gorgeous clothes.

They'd see Irvine and ask a few good questions and they'd make fun of Durkelon for putting himself in such a sorry state.

Durkelon was obviously not afraid of their rebuttal. "Are you guys still babies? Why don't you bring your mother along with you? Useless!"

After saying that, Durkelon pointed his middle finger. He wanted to let the other party understand that not everyone could bully him.

Indeed, there was no sound from the other side. At that moment, Lorne also discovered another side of him.

So this kid was only afraid of magical beasts. His mouth was still poisonous.
