To say that I was shocked would be an understatement. What did she say? She needed my help in changing clothes.
"Are you still there?" she asked when I did not respond or entered. I was sure I even forgot to take a breath listening to her words.
"Umm, my lady, shall I send a woman instead?" I asked with hesitation. My voice was sounding nervous and anxious but she only sighed.
"We did not bring any woman with us. Now come in. I did not have much time to spare." i felt at loss of words due to her curt reply. I was sure there would be a few staff at the inn too. I had seen them walking around. If she would ask and pay them enough then they would serve her better.
