Chapter 31 - Chapter 29

After watching Zushi's match, they parted ways and soon, Zushi and Wing were alone.

"Master, do you think Gon san can really do it in a week?" Zushi asked Wing.

"His teacher surely judges that is the case so he probably can." Wing said, "But I have yet to see him in action."

"..If that's true, isn't opening aura nodes in a week absurd?" Zushi said a bit dejected, "Even I took three months.."

"Now, Zushi, you're a genius. It's just that there might be people more of a genius than you out in the world." Wing told him.

'am I supposed to feel better?' Zushi thought.

On the other hand, Wing was thinking back to seeing Sachiko using crutches to walk. He overheard that she was injured in a fight on 130th floor which was suspicious for a nen user.

It was a known fact that nen users were on another level from non users. Even the weakest of them would be capable of killing strongest non users. So, why would a nen user be reduced to that state fighting with a non user?

While Sachiko most likely didn't use nen to fight on the lower floors, there was something about her that made him a bit uncomfortable.

If not for him needing to keep an eye on Killua and Gon, he wouldn't have suggested to have them train with Zushi.

Wing shook his head at the thought.

--------------------

While Gon was meditating to open his aura nodes, Sachiko trained more of her Hatsu and other nen techniques. During that time, she also got to 160th floor all the while pretending to use crutches. All of her victories on the way up to 160th floor looked either like sheer luck or pure accident that happened in her favor.

She also placed some bets on herself with the help of Killua and won another 420 million in total from bets alone. Since she also got 47 million from winning her matches, her total earnings in that particular week came to 467 million.

With all that money in her hands, Sachiko felt like she was supposed to spend at least some of it.

Like what was the point of having all that money if she wasn't spending it?

At least, that was unacceptable in her dictionary.

So, Sachiko went shopping as soon as she got the new batch of hundred millions from Heavens Arena.

Firstly, she bought a touch screen phone and the weird looking phone Leorio suggested Gon and Killua to buy in the anime to contact Wing. As for why she bought a touch screen one, it was because she was more accustomed to modern looking things and spending a few hundred thousands wasn't that big of a deal for her now.

After buying a touch screen latest model and a beetle 07, Sachiko went to buy new clothes, shoes, jewelry and whatever she found interesting and ended up spending around 100 million.

Seeing the amount her money shrank again, Sachiko thought, 'Maybe I shouldn't be allowed to go on shopping without a list?'

Just kidding.

Why would she care when she could just make more money instead?

Killua and Gon were still quite far from 200th floor and she could make a few more hundreds of millions just by betting on herself and on them.

So, Sachiko wasn't worried about money at all.

After shopping, she went back to her house and started thinking about teaching Killua and Gon.

So far, Killua had been training Ten and it was looking better. He could use some more training but Sachiko felt like she could teach him Ren before giving him a break to train more.

As for Gon, he opened his aura nodes on the early seventh day and Sachiko was a bit puzzled on why Killua could open his nen nodes in a shorter period of time than Gon.

Could it be that Killua was more talented than Gon?

Or was Killua in the anime wasn't trying his best?

If it was the second case, she had helped Killua so much more than she initially thought.

'Alright..back to the topic...Gon's training would be similar to Killua's until they started training with Wing and Zushi.. But in that case, I'd have to teach Killua and Gon in front of Wing as well..'

Now, Sachiko knew Wing was a bit wary of her after her attempt to get information about nen from him. Not that seeing her in crutches would've made him feel any better because if she was a nen user, why would she be put in that sorry state by a non user in the lower floors?

'I didn't know he was gonna show up that day but well...it's already done. I should just focus on my nen if I wanted to continue with my story..'

Now, Sachiko had pretty good control over her Hatsu and other nen techniques so she could start creating her own nen abilities at this point and creating a nen ability would be another powerful move at her disposal.

The question is which category should she focus on first?

According to Water Divination, she was a Manipulator and a Transmuter.

Transmuters could change the quality of their aura into the properties of other substances while manipulators could inject their aura into a medium and control animate and inanimate things through that medium.

Personally, Sachiko thought Transmuters were cooler because she could pretty much change her aura into anything as long as she had a certain familiarity with it.

But manipulators could also control their targets from behind the scenes if they wanted to so Sachiko thought that could be a nice trump card to have.

As for developing nen abilities for each category, Sachiko didn't have much familiarity with any particular attributes or moves yet.

'If I want to change my aura into something, I need familiarity with that element. So, should I start from thinking what I want to change into and build familiarity with it slowly?' Sachiko thought to herself.

But Sachiko couldn't think of any element that was suitable for her yet.

-------------------

A week gone by pretty quickly and Sachiko was pretty surprised to learn that Gon also took six days in total to open his aura nodes just like Killua. Sachiko introduced him to Ten for a few days before the agreed joint training session and Gon got the hang of it pretty easily just like Killua.

Then, the day of the joint training finally came.

Wing and Zushi stopped their tracks in front of the house. Sachiko just called them the day before and told them to come over to this address for their training. Wing didn't know what he was expecting but he surely wasn't expecting to see a mansion.

"Master...are we going inside?" Zushi asked as Wing was seemingly lost in thoughts.

"Of course. Let's go."

They went into the yard and as they were about to knock on the door, the door was flung opened and

they saw Sachiko in another set of edgy outfit.

"Oh! Wing san! What a coincidence! I was just about to go and find you haha"

She said with a laugh as if she didn't just slam the door open almost in their face.

"Sorry for the delay. We were not sure if we were at the right place." Wing said.

"Oh..my bad! I thought this place was like easy to find." Sachiko said dramatically as usual but Wing could see she didn't mean any of it.

"Killua! Gon! Wing san is here!!!" She then proceeded to shout the two kids' names to call them while Wing and Zushi stood there almost awkwardly.

But they were soon led to a spacious room which Sachiko claimed as their nen classroom. Apparently, there were a few desks, chairs, tables and a whiteboard so Wing assumed she built a classroom although he wasn't sure why there were more than two desks considering she was only teaching Killua and Gon.

"Oh..that's to set the mood! you know I like to inagine I'm bossing more than two kids around." Sachiko casually explained as if she knew what he was thinking and Wing didn't know how to react to it, except for the fact that she might have a few screws loose in her head.

"Right.."

It was almost awkward and Wing was thankful that the two kids came into the "classroom" just in time.

Killua walked into the room with his hands in pockets and Gon was behind him, looking excited.

"Hey, eyepatch lady, are we training with them today?" Killua asked.

"Yepp!"

"That's great! I can't wait to train!!" Gon said excitedly, which made Sachiko chuckle. "Yeah, yeah, I know."

"Gon, wanna race who does better?" Killua asked playfully.

Gon pouted at that, "Killua'll be the one to win then! You clearly learned nen before me!"

Killua stuck his tongue out, "And whose fault is that you had to rest without being able to train?"

Gon pouted and said in a quiet voice, "Mine.."

"Yepp!" Sachiko said, "Now, don't keep Wing san waiting. Go ahead and join him and Zushi!"

"Okay."

"Great! Now that it's settled, I'm gonna go do some shopping. Listen to Wing san and train properly, okay?" Sachiko said as she prepared to leave the room.

Wing, Zushi and Gon looked at her in disbelief.

"Wait, you're leaving us?!"

Meanwhile, Killua muttered a "Why am I not surprised?".

"I thought we were going to do..more like a collaboration to train them.." Wing said after a moment, pausing Sachiko in her tracks. She was already at the door so if Wing took a few more seconds, she would've escaped.

"Well, I'm not exactly a good teacher so I'm hoping Wing san could teach them a thing or two while... I prepare some materials for their training." Sachiko said with a smile.

"Ohh..in that case, I will just check on their progress with nen if you don't mind and have them do some endurance training." Wing said.

"That sounds wonderful. I'll leave them in your care then!"

There was absolutely no training material Sachiko had in mind and it was just a load of bs but Wing seemed to buy that or he seemed to be playing around so Sachiko wasn't about to complain.

With that, Sachiko left the two kiddos to suffer from Wing and went out.
