'What the- Where the hell am I!?'

Aren't I supposed to be dead? Why am I still alive?

...

...

Alive?

I look at surrounding me, everything is so unfamiliar. All of them look like from some distance past era.

Wait, who am I in the first place...

As I continue contemplating questions in my head, a sudden pain struck my throat, causing me to cough.

Sharp pain from my stomach rushes up to my throat till my mouth. A red substance exited from my throat.

'Its hurts. it hurts a lot!'

As I cough violently, I heard a knock on the door, 'W-who?' I couldn't answer it as I continue to cough like there's no tomorrow.

I feel like my vision is blurring and slowly turning black. Before I could pass out and fall on my bed, a strong arm caught me, and everything went black.

~~~~~~~
*5 minutes before 'Shaira's' attack*
As 'Shaira' continue to contemplate, a knight with pale pink hair, and crimson eyes, in red uniform stood beside his door outside her room, doing his job as he always does. Guarding the door of the lady of the House. He has been doing this for 3 years now.
He greets everyone who passed by the halls going to their respective duties.
when suddenly he heard a cough from the room.
He knocks.
"Princess are you all right?" The knight asks. Worried for his Princess.
No answer, as what he received is coughing continuously and it became too harsh to be all right.
He knocks again asking for permission.
"Princess, please pardon me for entering your room."
When he opened the door what welcomes him was bloody hell.
Her Highness is coughing harshly that blood drips between her arms as she covers her mouth with it.
The knight's crimson sharp eyes narrowed at the sight, without another word he ran to her highness, thankfully catching her before she fell out of her bed.
The girl is pale as hell, paler than she normally is. A trace of blood comes from her mouth and both her fingers and forearms are filled with blood. Tears fell from her closed eyes as her heavy breathing made it all worse.
The knight rang the bell that was on the bedside table beside the king-sized bed.
A minute later a woman in her middle 20's, with wavy brown hair and emerald green eyes wearing maid uniform came, shockingly she ran to the unconscious Princess.
"Oh no, Princess, what happened to you?!"
knowing the princess is currently unconscious the knight answered instead.
"I suddenly heard a cough outside, when I open the door, Her highness is already in coughing fits. She lost consciousness thankfully I catch her in time." He explained, placing the princess on the bed for a comfortable position, and putting the cover on the princess.
The guard look at the maid.
"You should clean up the Princess. I'll call for a doctor and report this to the Duke."
He said as he walk to the door, the maid bowed and thank him. "Thank you sir David for being there for the Princess. "
The knight nodded and replied "I'm only doing my job." and left to fetch a doctor and also made his way to the Duke's office.
~~~~~~~~~~~

The knight stopped in front of a big golden double door. The doors have been carved with the Family insignia, the left door has the left side of the shield and on the right door is a right shield carved on it. In between these two is a sword with a serpent crawling itself upward to the tip of the blade carved in. The guard of the sword represents the doorknobs of both doors.

The knight in red uniform knock on the door, and a faint "Who's this?" can be heard from the other side of the door.

"Your Excellency, it is I, David Haemon. I have urgent news I need to report to you right now. It is regarding Young Lady Julianne. May I come in?" The knight now named David introduced himself with formality and respect to his master.

Heard a faint 'come in', so he held the handle of the doorknob and turn it downward. with a slow push the door opened and what greets him was a study room. The room is so wide! Shelves are placed beside the wall filled with different types of books. A golden lining Coffee table with a glass in the middle with insignia of the Family can be seen in the middle of the room and two red couches with golden hand rest and golden lining can be seen beside the table facing each other.

forward from the coffee table, an office table placed a little bit further from the coffee table, is filled with papers. Papers are categorized by signed, to be read, and rejected. And beside this table lies a man in his early 40's or late 30's can be seen sitting on his office chair. having a gold painted wood for the hand rest and some body parts of the chair and red cushions for his back and butt.

Some of his black hair strands are sticking out of his styled hair. His tie was a little bit crock, maybe due to stress by signing and reading paperwork? He is holding a quilt, writing something on the paper in front of him. A tranquil atmosphere surrounds him.

David bows to him and greets him. "I greet thee, Your Excellency. "

The man on the chair stopped writing and looked at the knight in front of him. He cleared his throat with a fake cough.

"So, what is it with Julianne?" he asks with a deep stern voice.

"Your Excellency, Young Lady Julianne fainted due to coughing blood. I have called the Physician on my way here. The Young Lady also looked pale than she usually is." David reported.

The guy with black hair, widen his red eyes, shocked by the news he received.

He sat up and walk towards the knight, "I see. Now I want you to tell this to Michael. He needs to know this or else he will throw a fits again." He ordered, leaving the room not waiting for the knight's reply.

"Yes, Your Excellency."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"What is it that you need, David." a boy with white hair, red eyes, pale skin with the appearance of a 13-year-old asked as he wipe the sweat out of his face with the face towel he is holding on his left hand as his right-hand holds his wooden sword. He looks like he just finished his sword practice.
"Young Long, Young Lady collapsed. She started coughing so hard that she started coughing blood. Your Excellency ordered me to tell you this news-" Before David finished talking, Gabriel dashes out of the training ground toward the main building, leaving his sword thrown away on the field and an unfinished David k on the yard.
David smiled. 'He is so fast when it comes to his sister. I hope my Lady is all right...'
