Silence filled the entire room as Osbert sat beside Jel who was busy drinking blood from his golden chalice.
The moment they walked into the room, Osbert could feel the tension just mounting up on him as soon as several pairs of eyes appeared in his direction.
The dining room was filled with paintings of all kinds of food that Jel had in the past. The Vampire explained that he did not like the prospect of his paintings littering the halls, he didn't like seeing them, so he just painted random things and hung them everywhere.
That is why the aesthetic is a little … questionable sometimes but it works, in an odd sort of way.
Besides the paintings with golden frames, the long table in the middle of the room also looked like it was made of gold and the chandeliers hanging from the ceiling sparkled so much that it almost blinded him.
