He's no here tonight as well. Osbert thought, sitting on the edge of a building, overlooking the city below him.
"Don't you think it's pretty?" Lily asked, holding the scythe behind her as she stood beside Alby, smiling softly.
His legs swing over the edge, kicking back and forth as he couldn't help but compare the city in front of him to the city he was in with Jel.
Dull. He thought, looking at the darkness. It can't compare to that place.
"It's ok," Alby said, shrugging as he twirled the sword in his hands.
"You used to say that the city is so pretty from the top." Lily chuckled. "You were such a cute kid, what happened to him?"
"I don't know," Alby said honestly, not looking at the woman. "Maybe he grew up."
The woman looked at Alby for a second as the wind came and started playing with their hairs, a soft smile still on her face.
