Raijah and Val stood next to each other and looked at Kan's unconscious body.
"Alright," Raijah said to Val, "we can't just march in the castle without a plan. There was another strong guy who accompanied this one when they came for Cora. We have to assume that there's more that are strong."
"I know the castle pretty well," Val added, "Aziel has been invited to the castle on several occasions but, he was too busy to go and, I always had to go on his behalf. Do you have any idea why they want Teo?"
"The one in the red said something about someone named Gio," Raijah recalled, "he said Gio has never experimented on a devil."
"That makes sense," Val replied, "Gio does a lot of experiments so, he's probably planning on experimenting on Teo. Gio's lab is on the second floor and, Cora's room is on the fourth."
"So we'll go to the second floor to get Teo and then up to the fourth for Cora?" Raijah asked.
Val nodded her head in confirmation.
"Let's go straight to the second floor," Val said as she pointed at one of the castle windows.
She and Raijah jumped to the window and grabbed onto the windowsill.
Raijah poked his head up and peered through the window. He noticed that the interior of the castle was made entirely of gold.
"The windows are probably the only part of the castle that aren't made of gold," Raijah muttered.
He watched as guards passed through. After the guards walked by, Raijah waited a second before concluding that the coast was clear.
"Let's not draw too much attention," Val whispered to Raijah.
"Alright," Raijah said.
He gently flicked the window, causing it to shatter. It caused a loud noise but, as Raijah and Val hopped into the castle, they realized that no one had heard them.
"Guards who have prana have a small blue marking on the back of their chest plate," Val informed Raijah, "we should watch out for them."
Raijah nodded his head and, Val led him to a three-way intersection of hallways.
Val peeked her head out and looked both ways.
"There's one coming from both sides," Val said.
Raijah nodded his head, understanding what to do.
He waited for both guards to near the hallway intersection, and he jumped into action.
"Doragonken: Dragon Split Kick!"
Raijah jumped into the air and split his legs. His feet slammed into the two guards' gold helmets and, as Raijah hit them, they were immediately knocked out.
Val caught one of the guards before they hit the ground and, Raijah caught the other.
"Let's use their armor as a disguise so we can walk around freely," Val suggested.
"Good idea," Raijah responded as they began to remove the armor from the unconscious guards.
They stripped the guards of their armor and, the guards were left in their underwear.
Raijah and Val positioned the guards against the wall and put on their armor.
"All right," Val said as she put on the helmet, "let's go to Gio's lab."
Teo's opened his eyes and analyzed his surroundings.
He was in a bed and, around the room, there were several beakers containing liquids of different colors.
Teo turned his head and noticed a picture on the wall.
It showed a man with black glasses and unkempt short black hair. The man wore a yellow suit with black tuxedo shoes.
Teo tried to move his arms and noticed that he was in chains. Teo tugged harder and, the arm chains shattered.
He stretched his arms and looked to his right. His dark sword was floating with the blade pointing downwards.
Teo then looked at his feet, which were also held down by chains.
"Cut it, Teiden," Teo said.
His sword sliced the chains and, Teo stretched his legs.
Teo still wore his unbuttoned jacket over his white shirt. He wore black jeans and had on his black shoes.
Teo got off the bed and walked towards the door. His sword floated along beside him.
"Where the hell am I?" Teo asked as he rubbed his eyes and opened the room door.
He looked up and, the man he had seen in the picture looked down at him.
"My, my," Gio said, "my new experiment is already trying to escape."
Gio reached his hand out towards Teo. Before he touched him, Gio felt a fist slam into his face.
Gio crashed through the wall and landed in the castle yard. Around him were the bodies of guards that Val had defeated.
He looked up at the hole in the wall that he crashed through. Teo stood there with two guards in golden armor.
Teo looked at the guards with a confused expression, "Raijah?"
The two guards removed their helmets.
It was Raijah and Val. As they revealed themselves, the two of them grinned at Teo.
"What about the other guys from earlier?" Teo asked.
"I beat the one in the blue," Raijah explained, "he's outside. On the other side of the castle. And the one in the red is somewhere in this castle."
Teo's face was taken over by a slight smile.
An infuriated Gio glared at his enemies as he stood up.
"I punched you," Val said to Gio, "I've always wanted to do that because you're just so weird."
"Ah," Gio replied, "I know you. You're Aziel's student, Val."
"We're all Aziel's students," Val said.
She looked at Raijah, who was taking off the rest of his armor.
"You should go look for Cora. Remember she's on the fourth floor. Her room has a golden door, with her name in pink lettering." Val said, "Teo and I will fight Gio."
"Alright," Raijah said as he began to leave, "good luck, guys."
Val and Teo jumped out of the castle and landed in front of Gio.
Val removed the rest of the golden armor and dropped it on the floor.
"I will test the strength of your students," Gio said as he stared at his opponents.
Cora opened her eyes and realized that she was back in her castle room.
Her room was made entirely of gold and, she had a bookshelf full of books that she read to keep herself entertained.
She sat in a giant bed with pink sheets, and pictures of her and her brothers Sergio and Koji were on the wall.
Cora peered through the window beside her and, she saw Val and Teo standing in front of Gio.
Cora opened her window and jumped to the ground. She landed between Teo and Val.
"And here's another one of Aziel's students," Val grinned.
"Where's Raijah?" Cora asked.
"He was supposed to go get you," Val answered, "don't worry about him though Raijah's strong he'll be fine."
"I'll explain everything soon," Val said, "but, right now, we need to focus on the enemy."
"Alright!" the three of them shouted in sync.
An eruption of prana followed and, three massive samurai appeared on the battlefield.
There was a pink samurai, a black samurai, and a purple samurai. Each of them had massive blades matching the color of their samurai.
Gio looked up at the three samurai that loomed over him. "It seems your students are just as impressive as you, Aziel."
Raijah stopped at a door that matched Val's description.
It was gold with the words "Cora" in pink lettering.
Raijah pushed the door open and, it shut behind him. He looked around the room but, he saw no sign of Cora.
An open window caught Raijah's eye and, just before he walked towards it, he felt an eruption of prana.
"Cora's prana is out there. Along with Teo and Val's." Raijah thought.
He heard a knock on the door.
"I'll deal with these guards and then go join them," Raijah said as he walked towards the door.
He opened the door and, the man in the red suit from before glared down at him.
"Our fate has crossed again," Rome said calmly, "this time, I won't give you the option to escape it."
