The ball was finally over and the the lights were dimming as the servants went around cleaning the halls.
The nobles were either leaving had their servant bring in their suitcases as they talked with one another, excited for spending a night at the dukes household.
The children in question were excited and whispering between their friend groups discussing all the things they could do. After all, the kids were going to be staying in rooms next to each other, some even sleeping in their friend groups rooms.
Some kids had already planned a midnight escape while others had already planned all the horror games and horror stories.
Neo, Lily, Elias, Louise (the twins), Leona (the crown prince) were left alone together though, maybe because their beauty was blinding and intimidating to the people around them- obviously it was because of that.
Lanai, however, had already be-friended the entirety of the hall and made a friend group for herself.
Leona had done that too but he was trying to befriend the twins at the current moment therefore didn't want to leave them.
Neo and Lily were just very introverted and wanted to run-away.
Elias was excited but also wanted to run-away, Louise was just excited.
"Wanna share a room?" The Leona asked excitedly. "Yes! What about you all?" Louise asked, they both looked like shinning puppies. "Sure!" Answered Elias with a timid smile.
Neo and Lily shared a look, "Sure." Answered Neo. "Y-yea." Nodded Lily robotic-ly.
"I wanna join too!" Lanai shouted from behind them, behind Lanai came a group of two girls and a timid looking boy.
"Okay!" Leona answered happily.
"Tch." More people. Thought Neo.
"..." Lily's will wavered.
Elias smiled as he sweated a bit.
Louise smiled brightly, also happy to have more people with him.
The timid boy behind sweated as he melted, 'i just wanted to eat and sleep alone.. how did I get here.. mother.. you lied.'
One of the two girls behind Lanai, who had scarlet red hair smiled with a slight blush while looking at Leona.
The other girl with bright honey coloured hair just smiled gently, 'can she even see?' questioned Neo at the lack of the girls eyes opening.
They had now formed a huge group, much to Neo's dismay.
"Mind if I tag along?" Asked another voice, Neo swore he would kill whoever asked.
Looking back it was none other than Noah. 'Yup, definitely killing him.' Confirmed Neo.
"Mhm!" Leona looked ever happier at more people. "I think this is enough, or we wouldn't have any room to sleep in one room." Neo said.
Noah smiled at the little demon trying to get revenge at him. Neo would have just shut up and ignored everyone's existence if it was anyone else but, it was Noah. Like hell he'd miss a chance to get revenge.
"Oh.." Leona's aura darkened, he had a look of recognition but he still looked like a puppy who had just been kicked. He looked at Noah and then at the ceiling, then at Noah, then at the ceiling. With every turn his aura becoming more and more depressing.
"..Ahem, one more person should be fine." Neo resigned. Revenge could wait for another day.
Leona in return brightened more than before blinding the people around him as a couple of doggy ears sprouted from his head and a tail wagged behind him dancing with his joy.
".." They all looked at Neo with judgement but also thankfulness.
And just like that they headed to their rooms as the day ended.
"Horror stories?" Questioned Elias for the first-time suggesting something. He looked awfully excited and extroverted at that moment.
