Jason kept calm as they all looked at him.
"Do you expect me to believe what you just said right now"
Sophia glared at him.
Benjamin spoke up.
"We were very sure of the test when it came out Mr. Medes. She is pregnant"
"Oh. I don't doubt she's pregnant. I just don't think it's mine"
Pearl left the wheel chair and walked menacingly over to Jason.
"How could you say something like that. Do you think we would really stoop that low"
"Yes" He replied quietly.
Pearl tried to grab him but Janvier held a table knife to her neck.
"Janvier I know we are friends but that doesn't give you the right to touch my sister"
"Friends? We were friends Sophia. Our relationship was just a waste of time" Janvier replied. What she said hurt her than it did to Sophia.
"If it didn't matter to you....Why do you still have the bracelet" Sophia said softly.
Janvier was speechless. She couldn't give her an answer.
"So let's just pretend that you're actually pregnant for me" Jason said going to stand in front of Sophia.
"Do you really think I'd accept my heir from a Pueterico!"
"You have no choice and neither do I"
"How?"
Benjamin handed him a marriage contract as he explained the 12 months task assigned to Sophia.
Suddenly, Jason flings the paper away.
"You guys are just sick. Why would I want to marry you. I don't even believe you're pregnant with my child Sophia. You know why? Because I can't get a woman pregnant"
"But I'm pregnant. I've never..."
"Get out" Jason managed to muster with courage.
Janvier suddenly felt bad but she couldn't say anything.
Pearl looked at him.
"What"
"I said get out. Get out okay. I'm tired of pregnant girls always trying to claim that I'm the father of their child" He pinched the skin between his brows and sighed painfully. "If you guys are going to mock me about my impotency, you can do so but not with another man's child"
Tears fell down her face and Sophia couldn't stop it. She didn't say anything either.
Janvier wanted to say something but Sophia interrupted coldly.
"Common Pearl...Ben? Let's go. It was my mistake for coming here" She apologized to the Medes. She starts wheeling her chair around. "I won't bother you guys anymore. To save you the trouble...I'll abort the child.."
Jason didn't know why the last thing she said pierced his heart. But he just looked away as Pearl rolled the wheel chair out.
Ben was left there. He picked up the documents, them stares at Jason.
"You're not impotent...You just have a slim chance of getting a woman pregnant and here is one woman, genuinely pregnant for you and you're just going to let her abort it.. " No one said anything. ".. She's proud to admit she loves you. She does... if she can force herself to come here only to get humiliated. Sophia's the nicest and the most loveable person I've ever met and you guys...You guys hate her because She was the daughter of your enemy"
Jason clenched his fist.
"Forget about everything now, She's made up her mind..." Then he leaves.
