The day after Sandra's cry for help with the murder case, Doctor Kunle hadn't had peace in his heart until he could speak with Ireti, alone. So he summoned up enough boldness and went into her ward when Cynthia had gone out for a stroll.
"Hello, woman."
"Hi, man" Ireti replied, opening her eyes from the deep meditation state she was having
"May I sit with the pretty woman for a while?" Kunle responded while dragging a chair closer to Ireti's bed
"Why not? Anything the matter with me? You look a little pale today" Ireti said while sitting up for better closure
"No, not really. It's actually me that's the matter here." The doctor said with his face looking down at his feet.
"Oh. What could that be Doc? You can always confide in me; you know?" Ireti genuinely became concerned for his wellbeing. After all, he had been the one overseeing her recovery ever since she was admitted at the hospital.
