Arthur's POV
After the talk I had with uncle Jin woo I decided that I was going to accept her feelings. At first it felt wrong but after realising that I do love her I wanted to tell her what I thought.
"Oh god, I, Arthur leywin am in love, who could think that there was a day when that would happen" I said to myself as I touched my lips and remembered how she kissed me.
I blushed thinking how I was going to tell her my feelings, also thinking how cute she looked when she stood in front of me and when she ran away. I sighed and tried to sleep yet my thoughts were clouded with her. After a few hours I managed to get to sleep as I continued to stay in bed for the next few days.
I returned to class with a walking stick after I was discharged and went about the next few days peacefully as I was mostly sleeping in class or teaching. It was fun but I was still worried about how I would confront tess and tell her that I love her back, I know I shouldn't be but I was.
What also confused me was how uncle Jin woo was so good at love advice as I never really saw him with any women. Another thing was that he hasn't changed in nine years as if he couldn't change. I removed these thoughts from my head as I decided to confront tess later.
At night I was both excited and nervous as I went to the dorm that she stayed at. I had told silvie earlier to tell her to meet me there so she would know I wanted to speak to here. I also told her not to mention anything, so as I got there I saw her sat there on Tess's lap being stroked smiling. I finally realised how beautiful she looked, her gorgeous silver hair and mesmerising face that captivated me. For the first time I didn't see her as a friend but as a woman that I loved.
I continued walking and she could hear the tapping of my cane as she looked up to see me, she blushed and looked away as I smiled. I came toward her as silvie woke up and ran off back to my dorm leaving us alone. I sat next to as we stayed in silence as she looked down and I was looking at the moon.
"Art" she said as I turned to her.
"I'm sorry for kissing you back then" she said as tears formed in her eyes.
My heart broke at the sight of her crying so I pulled her into a hug shocking her. I buried my head into my shoulder and closed me eyes. After a while I pulled away and smiled at her.
"I want you to tell me how you feel about me?" I asked her with a smile whilst I could see her red face in the moonlight.
"I-I-I l-l-love y-y-you" she said as her blush deepened even more.
I could see that she was nervous as I was happy that her feelings for me where confirmed after a few days of questioning to myself. To her shock I pulled her into a kiss, it took a few seconds but she kissed me back and we enjoyed this intimate moment. I could taste the sweet strawberry of her lipstick as I brought her closer to me and we deepened the kiss.
After what seemed like an eternity we pulled away and sat closer smiling at each other. "I love you too tess" i said smiling at her as I held her hand. "Be my girlfriend" I said as she stared at me in with tears in her eyes.
Tessia POV
I was shocked that art had pulled me into a kiss as I was scared at what this would do to our friendship, yet now I realised that he loved me back and that made me very happy. What surprised me was how he asked me to be his girlfriend and how I realised then that I wanted to give everything I had to him.
"Yes" I said as I cried with happiness.
His face lit up as we kissed again and sat there in the moonlight as a new couple who where deeply in love with each other. After a few minutes of kissing I broke from it as a horrible thought came to mind.
"What about my parents?" I cried in shock as I thought I would have to hide mine and arts relationship with them.
"It's fine" he said stroking my hair. "I was going to go speak to them about it but uncle Jin woo said he would convince them" he said.
I calmed down after that as I knew that he was very powerful and could convince my parents. "It will be fine won't it?" I asked holding onto him. "Yes don't worry, you don't know but he is the only S rank adventurer on the continent and much stronger than a silver core" he said.
"He was also the one convinced me to accept my feelings towards you" he said.
"I know" I said as I could see his face fill with surprise.
"You do?" He asked.
"Yes, after I kissed you the other day, he said he would convince you, he said that you were to stubborn to realise you liked me" I said with a small laugh.
"It seems well have to thank him later" he said as we sat there in silence as I looked up at his smiling face and admired him.
Sung Jin woo POV
After I told Arthur I would convince Tessia's parents about their relationship I decided which way would be best. I considered threatening them and thought that it probably wouldn't be the best idea and should just talk to them. Thankfully they were still in the city so I could catch up to them without having to travel half the continent.
After catching up to them I sat down with them in the hotel they were staying in with Virion as well. "Well may I ask what you wanted to talk about, mister Jin woo?" Tessias father asked.
"Simple, tessias in love with Arthur" I said.
They all looked at me in shock as Virion started laughing. "I knew it!" He shouted continuing to laugh. "What does Arthur think about this?" Merial said.
"He reciprocated those feelings after a little convincing" I said as tessias parents fell into debate about what to do.
"I think we should let them be together" Virion said.
"But father, this will be a huge scandal" alduin replied.
"We don't have to make it official until a few years later, just late then date for now and they can get married a few years after school" I suggested as they both fell into discussion again.
"I agree, tess likes the boy, and besides don't you want her to be happy. Don't tell me your going to make her marry a random elven noble that she wouldn't know" Virion said.
I was impressed with his way of thinking and his ability to make people convinced."fine we will let them date for now and then they can get married in the future" alduin said.
"Good, also you should start getting ready" I said.
"Get ready for what?" They asked in confusion.
"The other continent are moving faster than expected" I said as they all looked at me in horror.
"What do you mean?" Alduin asked.
"Remember the corrupted mana core from the elder wood guardian?" I asked.
"Yes" they said.
"They corrupted it, meaning you need to be ready for war, and fast" I said.
"Do you have proof that they want war?" Virion asked.
"There is an increase in S rank monsters, and I have seen them" I said.
"How do you know about the increasing S ranked monsters?" Merial asked.
"Oh I forgot to introduce myself properly, I am Sung Jin woo, the only S ranked adventurer on the continent" I said smiling as they all looked at me in shock.
"Of course, how could we not realise" alduin said
"But I'm surprised it took you this long to find that where was another continent on this planet" I said as they all looked at me in suspicion and shock.
"How did you know there was another continent?" Virion asked.
"Remember when I said I had more soldiers, well I sent them to gather information and they scouted the planet" I said before leaving them in shock.
After leaving I was bored so I went back to the beast glades, not before seeing the newly formed couple. I smiled at their affection towards each other before remembering what it was like to live someone else. I traveled onwards and made it to the beast glades and continued killing some more monsters.
A few days had passed and I was currently in a large dungeon that went for miles underground. They were serpents here that were around A ranked and above. As I got further down I could see that there were signs of a battle here and a tunnel leading further underground.
I could feel waves of mana coke out of the tunnel as I was curious and I wanted to fight something. As I got further and further down I could smell the blood in the air as I picked up the pace and in less than a minute came across what looked to be a massacre. I could see a towering black figure clad in the same armour that the beings from other continents wore.
I looked past and saw a woman lying there in white clothes, she was heavily wounded and had her mana core shattered. "Don't worry, I won't let you die just yet, you people disgust me so I'll let you suffer a bit" the unknown figure said as it began to walk off.
"You know I really hate your race" I said walking out of the shadows as they both turned to me.
"Who are you?" The large figure said.
"That's not a need to know information" I said as I appeared in front of the dying women.
"Seems like you've done quite a deal on these people" I said as I turned toward him.
"Don't worry human, I'll let you have the same fate" he said unsheathing his sword.
"Oh I'm not human, well not anymore" I said before he ran at me.
I was bored so I killed him instantly before healing the women's external injuries to a certain degree and carrying her out of here. I instructed my soldiers to build a house using the surrounding wood and other materials I created. I put her on the bed and made sure she was comfortable before leaving the room so she can sleep.
Alea POV
I thought that I would die, I was annoyed at myself as I had never gotten a proper life. I had never had a family of a lover to rely on and I didn't want to die. I hated myself for deciding to go deeper into the tunnels and for dragging my soldiers to death. I watched it leave and I thought this was the end until I heard someone appear, I saw that it was a handsome young man and wanted to tell him to run.
Sadly I passed out before doing so, I thought that it was the end until I awoke to the warmth of the sunlight. "Is this death?" I said to myself before getting up off the soft bed. I realised that I had not died and my external injuries were alright. Although I could still feel the intense pain from having my bones and my mana core shattered.
I tried to get up and fell to the floor as the intense pain came across my body like a knife. I eventually gathered the strength and got up and left the room, and walked down one of the corridors checking each of the rooms for any enemies until I made it to what looked like a dining room.
Sat in one of the seats of the dining room was that same man who was there when I was about to killed by that large figure. "Who are you?" I asked as I prepared to get into a fighting state, even with my body screaming at me to rest.
"You are in no position to fight me, you'll only make your injuries worst" he said.
"You haven't answered my question" I said.
"Oh my, someone's impatient, my name is Sung Jin woo" he said chuckling.
"What do you want with me?" I asked as I searched my memory for this name.
"A thank you would suffice for saving you" he said smiling.
"T-t-thank y-y-you for saving me" I said as I became red from embarrassment.
"Now sit down before you hurt yourself even more, and I'll make some food" he said whilst standing up and leaving the room.
I was surprised at my reaction as I sat down willingly, almost as if I couldn't control my body, not like I minded though because I was in massive pain. I checked the surroundings and saw through a window that I was in a forest, it reminded me of the beast glades but that couldn't be possible, no one would dare live here under the constant threat of monsters.
After a while I realised I was very hungry and right in time as he returned carrying platefuls of food that he set down in front of me. "Go ahead" he gestured toward me to eat with a smile as I cautiously put a mouthful of food in my mouth. It was delicious, the combination of flavours where excellent and I could feel my fatigue going away as I continued to eat the food with a smile.
I blushed from embarrassment when I noticed he was smiling at me. I looked away as I continued to eat the food, until it was finished and I heard him chuckle. "I assume you like it?" He said.
"Y-y-yes t-t-thank you" I said as I couldn't look him in the eye.
"If you need anything just call me, I'll be in the other room" he said as he took the empty plates away and left me there whilst I thought of what to do now.
It seemed that for the time being I would need to stay here and recuperate. I left that room clinging on the walls as I was still heavily injured. I continued wandering throughout the house until I entered the room where the person who saved me was in, I walked in and saw that he was sat on a chair at desk with his eyes closed.
I was curious towards who this person was so I came in quietly as to not awake him, as I got closer I looked more closely at his face and realised how handsome he is. It made me blush as I reached out my hand to touch him. Thankfully he was asleep as I ran my fingers across his face and looked at his well chiselled body. I noticed a black glove on his hand and reached for it, I slowly pulled the glove off to reveal a horrific burn mark that scorched his hand.
I gasped quietly as I began to wonder what could cause such a terrible burn mark as I turned my head back to his face, only to see his eyes open and looking at me.
"What are you doing?"
