Chapter 2 - Origin of the Utu

"Kings of the eleven tribes of our land" said the high Priest of the Utu people."Our land is now unable to sustain our population, since our King Para died our neighbours have made us their instruments of work, our cattle have been taided to the fullest and our food stolen by our fierce neighbours. I summoned all of you here today to join me cry to the God's of our land to give guide us out of this tunnel of caramities which seem to finish us off.

The God's of the land directed Ula, who was believed to be immortal counting to six thousand years but still able to stop evil spirits that would attech the people of utu, to name five groups of people to migrate from the forest of Makosi to a land the gods would show them.

These tribe were to setup a powerful magical kingdom that was to spread the culture of the Utu all over the area they conquered. Each tribe was to receive powers according to its role in the kingdom. The five kingdoms were;

The Maji, water tribe

The Babazi, the fighters

The Busiki, The incanated with animal tribe

The Mzamwa, the black Smith's

The Mkiiza, the royals and rulers.

The Utu had been together for all time, since their existence and from third King Utu came eleven sons from which the eleven tribes came from. The five tribes to migrate where to be made by a mixture of two tribes, each tribe
