The room heater kept the room warm but Nari was feeling extra hot. Ye Jun, who was sitting beside her, ate the noodles she made quietly. His face was too monotone to speak his feelings for what she made. She again time to time and wondered why he was so lost a while ago. She had never seen Ye Jun walking in the streets recklessly, even back then. Ye Jun has been a boy of principles since his childhood. He would dress neatly, go back home early, and never thought of taking a walk just because the weather was nice.
Soon, their eerily silent dinner ended. Nari had eaten less than she wanted. But what to do? She was too conscious of him being around, unknowingly.
"Do you want something to drink? A can of beer?" she asked.
He looked at her.
"I get it," he told her and got up from the sofa.
"Huh? Oh- okay. The fridge is in the right corner of the fridge, just beside the door."
