Nari stood up with great effort and approached the ambulance.
"Nari-ah..." Min Jae stopped her.
But she ignored him and jerked his hand away holding her forearm.
"I want to go along." she requested the ambulance workers.
And even before anyone said anything, she went inside. As she entered, she could see Ye Jun lying on the stretcher. His mouth was covered with an oxygen mask. She slowly went to him and sat beside him.
"Ye Jun-ah!" she gritted her teeth to suppress her urge to yell.
For now, the first aid was done, but the blood flow didn't seem to stop. The doctor beside Nari continuously kept checking his pulse. While Nari sat there staring at him numbly.
Soon the ambulance reached the hospital and he was taken out. She ran together with the stretcher while he was taken to the emergency ward.
"You may wait outside." the doctor said and he was taken inside the operation theatre.
