His eyes fluttered open and soon the light entering the room from the window made him close them again. Ye Jun realised it was morning already. Sitting up, he had forgotten whatever happened last night. Taking a deep breath, he thought today was a leisure day. It felt unusual for him to just be idle in the morning because of his lifestyle for the past three years.
Running his fingers through his hair, he stood up and removed the curtains covering most of the window by sliding them sideways.
Outside, the sky was clear, and the bright sun danced in the sky. He breathed in and looked down. He did not know what to do today when suddenly the bell at his door rang. Walking slowly towards the door, passing the hall, he opened it. A man holding a bouquet stood there at the threshold.
"Good morning sir, this was ordered for you," he said and handed over the bouquet to Ye Jun.
Ye Jun frowned at those fresh yellow lilies in his hands.
