Ye Jun held Nari and made her stand upright. She looked at him and smiled brightly.
"Oh! Ye Jun-ah, it's you?" she slurred her way through the words.
"Yeah..." he lowered his voice.
"Are you alright, you...look tipsy?" he asked, concerned.
"Yeah, I am fine." She stood upright, getting rid of his grip and sniffed her runny nose.
"It's just-" she hiccuped again.
"My hiccups could've been a distraction there, so I came here," she explained.
There was an awkward silence filling the space between them now.
"Earlier...the announcement-"
"Oh, right-" she hiccupped again as she interrupted.
"Congratulations!" and she stretched her hand towards him.
Ye Jun looked at her, her eyes were filled with tears and slightly red along with her nose.
"Nari-ah..."
"You two really look good-" she hiccupped again and sniffed her nose.
"Not lying."
Ye Jun clenched his eyes and took in a deep breath.
"I know what you're thinking. We are not in a relationship," he explained.
